Tea Party leader yells "You're dead" at Democrat at town hall meeting. No, wait, it's the other way round. Rachel Madcow, care to comment?

Shooting victim arrested, accused of threat.

A man who was wounded in last week's shooting rampage in Tucson was apprehended by authorities Saturday after he allegedly threatened a "tea party" activist at a town hall meeting of victims and eyewitnesses of the attack.

James Eric Fuller, a 63-year-old Democratic activist, was arrested after shouting "You're dead!" at Tucson Tea Party spokesman Trent Humphries, said Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman Jason Ogan. Fuller was shot in the knee and back Jan. 8 when a gunman opened fire, killing six and injuring 13, including Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Fuller, a disabled veteran and former campaign volunteer for Giffords, was charged with making threats, intimidation and disorderly conduct and was involuntarily committed for a psychiatric evaluation, Ogan said.

In an interview with Democracy Now on Thursday, Fuller linked the shooting to conservative leaders associated with the tea party, including Sarah Palin, Fox News commentator Glenn Beck and Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle. "It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target," Fuller said.

Giffords and Pelosi have both made much of the swastikas on posters at Tea Party rallies.
(WE know they're accompanied by slogans like "NO REPEATS" and "NEVER AGAIN.")
Was Fuller pushed over the edge by their hate-filled half-truths? He's the one who said Palin, Beck and Limbaugh "have their first target."
I've sent the link to the Authorized Journalists I used to work with. The ones complaining about the political vitriol that's been spewed since Obama took office.
I wonder what they'll say NOW.
I can see them casting Fuller in the role of Capt. von Stauffenberg of Operation Valkyrie.

I can see them casting Fuller in the role of Capt. von Stauffenberg of Operation Valkyrie.

Which would bump Tom Cruise down to the second silliest choice for that role ;-).

My wife and I remarked on how gray Obama's hair was at the pep rally in Tucson. We thought the job was aging him fast.
Now it's all dark again, like Dracula's after a good feed.

I wonder how it feels to have the Communistas committed to their own psychiatric hospital for government treatment?

Remember the good old days when it was all Marilyn Manson's fault?

Keep it classy, Fuller. Sorry he got hurt and all. But it wasn't done in my name, or the name of anyone I know. Psych evaluation? He doesn't sound much saner than Loughner.

Is this to be the new standard for law enforcement when tow people disagree in public ?? Unacceptable.

"..and was involuntarily committed for a psychiatric evaluation"

It's rather clear just how much Mr. Fuller (allegedly a veteran) cares about his oath to "...preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution..."

Hell, sounds like he'd fit in quite well with "Law Enforcement"! Wonder if the Feds have any openings for him?

You know this will be the Tea Partier's fault. He "incited" Fuller.

The left doesn't care WHO they can claim is being incited. They just want a club, any club with which to beat the opposition into silence.

This guy was unbalanced either by what happened or, I suspect, was unbalanced to begin with. He was interviewed on our local TV station and just was out there IMO. I'm in Phoenix, BTW.

Yeah, I remember when the Beatles were at fault, then Ozzie and Marilyn, now the tea party. I can't wait to see what scapegoat Faux news finds for the economic collapse, or why we just got WWIII 'dumped' on us.

My great fear is fighting my stupid, gullible neighbors over who they believe the 'newest' anti-christ is, thanks to MSM. No one bothers to research facts anymore, if it's from an e-mail or the TV, it's the truth!

But then again, that's the big plan anyway. Keep the peasants busy killing each other while Big Brother does as he pleases.

Mr. Humphries sounds like a very reasonable and thoughtful man.
Spit-in-your-eye, if a death threat in front of many witnesses ON TV isn't enough -- and we don't know whether Fuller was the one who previously threatened Humphries to "stay out of public places" -- what IS? It wasn't mere "disagreement."
I'm concerned about using LEOs as henchmen too, but this meets my case-by-case analysis criteria. And if I were Humphries, Fuller would be well advised to not come within 50 feet of me even to apologize.

Finally found some photos of those "Tea Party swastika carriers."

Full interview. Outtake paragraphs are on newsbusters.com. He said MUCH more than "Beck, Palin and Angle have their first target."

And even though I was sedated and everything, I stayed up—I was staying up, stayed most of the night. And I didn’t know how to calm myself down, so I wrote down the Declaration of Independence, which I memorized some time ago. And that did help to organize my thoughts. And the first thing that I wrote down and what my reaction was to it was: "How many other people? How many other demented people are out there? **It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target.** Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled—senseless hatred leading to murder, lunatic fringe anarchism, subscribed to by John Boehner, mainstream rebels with vengeance for all, even nine-year-old girls." There was a little girl named Christina Green, nine years old, who is one of the deceased.

AP only reported whats between the **s. Deadlines, you know.

Wrote down the Declaration of Independence to calm down.
What a load.

A thirty-second "Oh, by the way" at the end of the show.
ABC gets pwned.
Who's next?!?

Also, Diane Sawyer of... whatever network she's of, gasped when George Stuffingenvelopes reported that support for stricter gun control was DOWN.
"Stricter is DOWN?
"Ahem, now on to more IMPORTANT news..."
To Stephanopoulos's credit, it's hard to read him most of the time, whether he has an opinion on the topic. We know who he is and who he's worked for, but he plays the news straight, that I've seen.

Check out the guy's latest ranting:

"There would be torture and then an ear necklace, with [Minnesota US Rep.] Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin's ears toward the end, because they're small, female ears, and then Limbaugh, Hannity and the biggest ears of all, Cheney's, in the center,"

He's starting to make Loughner look sane by comparison. Keep your Google news alert for "Tucson Shooting" active, I suspect it may come up again soon.
