Good luck with that. Kollectivist Kalifornicator Kongresscritter: "Regulate homemade weapons."

"The alarming phenomena of homemade firearms and their ease of access without any scrutiny, has led me to introduce two pieces of legislation in the House – the Homemade Firearms Accountability Act and Home-Assembled Firearms Restriction Act. These two bills would mandate anyone who intends on legally manufacturing their own firearm to obtain a registered serial number to be affixed on the firearm and would block the sale of any form of do-it-yourself firearms parts or kits – especially those currently being sold over the internet. It is my hope to draw attention to the too often overlooked issue of homemade firearms and include these firearms in the national discussion on gun control."

"I agree that no matter how many laws we pass, we may not be able to entirely eradicate our epidemic of mass shootings."

What the Unicorn Worshipers ignore is the actual number of mass killings that have occurred across the span of history without the use of firearms. It's not surprising because Hondo and the rest of his ilk can't understand numbers in the millions.

When New Guinea tribesmen were first asked why they they fought with neighboring tribes the most frequent answer was that they couldn't remember...they had just always done so. And, they hated each other; for no definable reason.

Humans roll like that.

He'll be wanting to ban or register typewriters and copy machines as soon as he discovers folks can write and reproduce material he doesn't agree with.

And then, registration of home made pointy sticks.

Has a "homemade firearm" EVER been used in a crime?

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.” -- 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand

My response to the article was, "Well, they can TRY. Course there's no great likelihood that they'll have any greater success with that than with their efforts to keep convicted felons from buying guns."

FRN's getting less useful all the time. Expand the black market further, KKK's, the sooner we all know how to live without your vaunted permissions the more of us will survive what you have made inevitable with your appetite for power.

"Representing Silicon Valley, I have seen firsthand the ways in which technology can accomplish great things in progressing our society."

Well you are definitely a person of limited mental capacity; I've also seen where technology has ruined this society. I truly believe that you drank a huge cup of stupid before you proposed this. As Bugs said, "what a maroon." I thank God every day that I don't live in your neck o the woods.

Mike our country is collapsing and the clowns in power know it. That's why they want to disarm the people of every means we have to resist or survive.

PO'd American-
Honda didn't come up with this. It's just a rehash of Kevin De Leon's 'Ghost Gun' effort. Remember? Those evil Ghost guns that have "the 'bility with a thirty caliber clip to disperse with 30 bullets in a half a second. Thirty magazine clip in half a second". His words, not mine.

I'm glad you don't live here too. I wouldn't wish this place on anybody. It's truly run by liars and idiots.

FIN 1106, yes, at least once. I think the UCLA killer built his own AR.

I think he stabbed four and shot two of the dead, but only the GUN CRIME got much news coverage.

Much too late to even consider disarming the small portion of the population who would fight to preserve their God given rights.
They ain't got enough balls or guns to make that happen.
Hell; we've been building "assault" style weapons in bulk for more than a decade....and buying up the ammo to supply them.
I recall them carping about the measly 4 thousand rounds the Musies of San Bernardino had....I know guys who buy ammo by the pallet.
Just add this jokers name to the list and move on.

The US Congress passed a law banning new machine guns from getting into "civilian" hands in 1986. Machine guns are now effectively nonexistent for the "average" shooter (25000 average price). Such laws banning new manufacture for "civilians" will disarm the "average" AR-15 AR-10 owner ten years sooner. No new receivers, no weapons in twenty years. Not only would this be one of the most effective anti-gun laws passed since Reagan and Bush 1 waged "operation trigger lock" in the 80's and early 90's.(it ended with WACO) It would be the beginning of the end for gun ownership. ---Ray

FIN, ever heard of a "zip gun"? I expect more'n a few crimes have been committed the them. Set off a .22lr cartridge at the base of a cop's skull and you instantly become the possessor of a small arsenal - including a select fire M-16 variant.

If we actually build a wall around Mexico, we need to extend it to California as well.
