Stupid Brit collectivist proposes to repeal the 2nd Amendment (from the safety of across the ocean, of course).

"Bang! Another one bites the dust: repeal the Second Amendment!"
My reply, awaiting approval:
You tried disarming American citizens once and we handed your mighty empire its ass. We can do the same to the neo-collectivists in this country anytime they feel froggy. "Stopping gun violence" by provoking a bloody civil war seems rather ironic and certainly a stupid violation of the Law of Unintended Consequences.

Sadly, this is, I think, essentially <0-bomba's method, too. There are already treaties and UN resolutions that, if enforced in the U.S.A., would require universal registration and serve as a basis for confiscation. Agreed, they don't know what the Japanese in the 1930s allegedly knew: in America, there is a gun behind every blade of grass.

Since the author is not posting comments over there, I'll put it here. I'll also make it real simple.

It's racial stupid. Welcome to post-racial America. Enjoy your multiculturalism over there. Same to the Aussies--not hearing much from down under, eh?

They will just never "get" what being an American is...

I've said it before and I'll say it again: start with a faulty premise, reach a faulty conclusion. In this case specifically using the term 'gun violence' - There Is No Such Thing - guns are inanimate objects and cannot commit violence, that requires a person. Period. That ineffable truth escapes ALL gun banners of any and all stripes/persuasions, either here or abroad. BTW, how is that knife restriction working out over there in Old Blighty??

I feel this same way every time there is a royal wedding or birth. Kardashian America eats it up as if it is such a "wonderful" thing to "celebrate". Uh huh, suuuure it is. I remind them every time....we our forefathers fought a brutal bloody war in order to get AWAY from that pomp and circumstance! SO why the hell celebrate it now?

"Repeal the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment, just 27 words long on a piece of paper,"
Riiiiight. JUST 27 word on a "piece of paper". That "paper" is as sacred to most Americans (vice LIV serfs) as the Holy Scriptures, and inspired from the same Source. AND, as an added bonus reminder, these same rights that you are so willing to destroy, existed LONG before the DoI, the Constitution, and the BoR. These are merely the physically written and codified versions so that they are easier to remember, teach, and pass down to the next generation. These rights would exist even without the aforementioned documents.
So, whenever you're feeling froggy enough, feel free to jump across the pond to make your case in person. Just don't be surprised when you are laughed at just as loud then as you are being laughed at now.

FOAD. By all means start the repeal efforts. Shit why not bypass them and go "full retard" and try seizures. You can start with raids in CT and NY state. Flex your mighty federal powers! Show the limp wristed gun owners you mean business. There are almost a half million or more raids you could start conducting in just those two states alone. WTF are you waiting for? There will never be a better time than now!

Hi Mike,
Funny how that goes! In The Movie, "Dr. Zavago" Somewhere near the center where Yuri and family are trying to get "Out in the Country" and get in this "Boxcar" with a lot of other people!! Some soldier has some "prisoners" he's taking "somewhere" and in spite of being "Chained Up!!" This one"Political Prisoner" Guy, takes a long pan across everyone in the boxcar and slowly exclaims,"I-Am- The "Only" "FREE PERSON" in Here!!!!!!!" ....First saw that movie and that scene in 1966......and several times since then!!!!
He allowed them to put the hard, iron chains on him!! If it gets to that point...."FIGHT LIKE A MAD DOG!!!!!, "NO CHAINS, NO WAY!!!!!!!!!"

Funny how they cried out for guns when Hitler was at their Gate,
and whom did they cry to?
The US of A of course, knowing that we had plenty of guns and hoping that we would share.

Sort of like what Charlton Heston said of his Hollywood friends during the Rodney King riots.

The Liberals, they don't understand, and they aren't smart enough to leave us along.

Just like the Brits to forget what the American Patriots were made of. Never forget this episode from the Revolution: http://allthingsliberty.com/2014/08/disarming-the-disaffected/

Hmmm, as I recall the Brits 'begged' for assistance shortly after Dunkirk and we, the Citizens of the US, ponied up and donated something on the order of 350,000 rifles to them for home defense. Anyone know what happened to those arms after hostilities ceased?
