1. Did you know ATF has had an ATF agent at DOJ HQ for 2 years working at the Special Assistant to the Deputy Attorney General? I didn't, but his name is Mark Michalic, formerly of the Intel directorate (OSII). My source tells me this was a hook up from Jim McDermond, the former Secret Service guy and head of ATF Intel who got sent to be the assistant director of Public and Government Affairs last year. Michalic (my source said he is a good guy and a Waco vet) has been there so long he has worked for or with most of the people on Issa/Grassley's latest demand memo for DOJ emails.
2. Michalic reports to and talks to Melson, Hoover, Sarnacki and Pelletiere as the official and unofficial link to senior management at DOJ and there are LOTS of emails between them.
3. Michalic's wife is Vivian Michalic, the current assistant director for ATF's Office of Management but also Melson's former chief of staff. That directorate controls all of the money, personnel (until recently) and administrative things inside ATF.
So it looks like acting director Melson, breeder of Portuguese water dogs and Captain Crunch stunt double - a guy more in the weeds than any other director we have ever had wants us to believe that even though he had the IP address of surveillance cameras, demanded briefings for he and Hoover weekly, had an AD and former chief of staff feeding him information from AND TO his connection in the DAG's office, that he didn't know what was going on? I think that is bull s###.
The ORIGINAL gathering place for a merry band of Three Percenters. (As denounced by Bill Clinton on CNN!)

From CUATF by way of John Richardson: Melson's back door to DOJ hierarchy.

Of course Melson,Brewer, and Hoover knew. And it would appear so did this Mark Michalic.
The BIG Question can evidence show that this was "AUTHORIZED" by their superiors, namely Holder/Obama/Hillary/Napolitano.We all know they are behind this conspiracy. Hard evidence to show to the Oversight Committee and the American Public is what is Needed.
No matter what these BATFags have to say, as far are I am concerned, NO ONE who was at Waco, on the FedGov side, could POSSIBLY be a "good guy." They are, as they were from the start, goons, thugs and murderers, simple but hardly pure. These are the slugs that, were they in any other country, would have been targets for me and mine, the sort we would have treated as we did the Japanese in WWII, the ChiComs in Korea or the VC/NVA in Vietnam... that is, no prisoners, no mercy. And they'd deserve every bit of it. I know there are some who THINK they're on the side of the angels, but even a cursory read of the lies, phony prosecutions and other atrocities would convince an HONEST man or woman to seek gainful employment elsewhere.

(And that's my REAL name! I don't hide behind masks or blacked out badge numbers when I speak or do anything.)
I had to scold John for the lack of warning about the description of Melson as "Captain Crunch stunt double," because of the painful iced tea-out-the-nose guffaws it induced--and I still have trouble holding things together when I read that.
At least I saw it coming this time, and made sure I had no unswallowed beverage to deal with.

'Super Congress': Debt Ceiling Negotiators Aim To Create New Legislative Body
Debt ceiling negotiators think they've hit on a solution to address the debt ceiling impasse and the public's unwillingness to let go of benefits such as Medicare and Social Security that have been earned over a lifetime of work: Create a new Congress.
This "Super Congress," composed of members of both chambers and both parties, isn't mentioned anywhere in the Constitution, but would be granted extraordinary new powers.
Under a plan put forth by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and his counterpart Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.),
Legislation approved by the Super Congress -- which some on Capitol Hill are calling the "super committee" -- would then be fast-tracked through both chambers, where it couldn't be amended by simple, regular lawmakers, who'd have the ability only to cast an up or down vote.
People grow, people change, people sin, people repent but most importantly people are individuals not cartoon characters.
At the end of the day, ultimate justice is up to God, but it is important to remember that we would not be where we are, on the verge of truly great events this week, without the whistleblowers of the ATF like John Dodson, Darren Gil, Vince Cefalu and Jay Dobyns.
Understand your frustration but just a gentle rebuke.
"Michalic (my source said he is a good guy and a Waco vet)..."
This is oxymoronic.
How do "good guys" wear this as a badge of honor?
Their definition of "good guy" is very different from mine!
Anyone who participated in making war on American citizens should hang their heads in shame! But they have no shame.
Good fuckin' guys, huh?
"People grow, people change, people sin, people repent but most importantly people are individuals not cartoon characters."
One need only read the story of Saul of Tarsus, with particular attention paid to his persecution of Christians before his "come to Jesus" moment to understand we all have some things to atone for. But DC is correct in one area.
The scum that were supposed to be our law enforcement representatives, yet perpetrated the atrocity known as Waco, have more to answer for and ask forgiveness of than most.
I personally would take welfare before I put on an ATF badge. That organization is forever tainted in my opinion. Disgraced Roman legions were given the opportunity to regain their honor by summmitting themselves to "decimation". If any of your ATF contacts can come up with a better process, I'd be glad to read about it here.
