The Window War: There WAS a message on the Rochester brick.

Brick, Liberty Tool, Model Mark One dash A.

So, I reckon it WAS a Son or Daughter of Liberty in Rochester.

Blogger encourages throwing bricks at Democratic headquarters

Jill Terreri • Staff writer • March 22, 2010

The vandalism at the Monroe County Democratic Committee is consistent with actions called for by a group with roots in Alabama.

A blogger from Pinson, Ala., has encouraged his readers to break windows at Democratic headquarters across the country as a show of opposition to health care reform.

The blogger, Mike Vanderboegh, contacted the Democrat and Chronicle after the newspaper on Sunday published a Web story about the vandalism at the committee’s University Avenue headquarters, which happened Saturday or Sunday.

“Well, it seems New Yorkers continue to put the rest of you Sons of Liberty to shame,” the blog reads in a post dated today, with news reports of the Rochester vandalism.

The brick had a note attached, which read “Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice,” credited to Barry Goldwater, said Democratic Committee spokesman Sean Hart.

On Friday, the blog, Sipsey Street Irregulars, encouraged its readers to “Break their windows. Break them now.”

“Yet, if we do a thorough job of breaking Democrat windows, I am sure that the GOP will profit from the example,” the blog reads. “So, if you wish to send a message that Pelosi and her party cannot fail to hear, break their windows.”

The windows at the Niagara Falls office of Rep. Louise Slaughter, D-Fairport, were broken on Friday.

The blog claims windows were broken in other cities but does not have news media reports of such action.

LATER: The Asheville Citizen-Times picked up the story here, and some bright boy has already left a message there in comments:

It's time for the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security to step into this and hold those bloggers responsible who have encouraged and ordered such acts of domestic terrorism. The very foundations of our society are built upon the premise of debate, speech and expression free from the threat of violence and intimidation. This New Age Republican Party is rapidly becoming very parallel with the National Socialist Movement that infected pre-WWII Germany and those who engage in the destruction against our Constitution and our Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence need to be held accountable.

They should be charged with Federal charges as domestic terrorists, and any who engage in such anti-Constitutional and anti-American behavior should be likewise charged. Those tea-party Palin/Gingrich/Boehner republicans who called the black congressmen the "N" words and likewise sought to intimidate Barney Frank should also be charged accordingly.

From the comments on the original news story comes this nugget "Violence is never the answer."

Our country was founded using violence. Violence put Hitler out of business. And Hirohito. And Mussolini.

Violence kept Texas from becoming Mexico.

Threat of violence is used by these progressive socialist bastards to make sure you pay your taxes to fund their BS programs.

We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union.

Violence can be a very effective answer, especially when dealing with tyrannical government. The people who argue "Violence is never the answer" usually make such statements based on the implied understanding that violence by government thugs is ok to enforce the laws (aka will of the government).

Yo, birdbrain: the eggheads tell us that each and every one of us commits about three felonies a day, mostly without even knowing about it. Any one of us can be (forcibly) arrested, at any time, for--let's face it--any reason whatever. At the same time, the enforcement class (for they are no longer peace keepers, if ever they truly were) is militarizing faster than the military. At the same time, any sort of meaningful dissent from this trajectory is increasingly (forcibly) shut down.

You wanna talk threat of force and intimidation? You can start by explaining why a brick through a window scares you more than what you see when you look out of it.

"[T]hose who engage in the destruction against our Constitution and our Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence need to be held accountable.

"They should be charged with Federal charges as domestic terrorists, and any who engage in such anti-Constitutional and anti-American behavior should be likewise charged."

I agree with every syllable. So, when should we expect our politicians go on trial?

The government has violated the Constitution, this the first volley in the war to restore the Constitutional Republic.

It was my congressman Emmanuel Cleaver (spit!) who said someone called him the "N" word. Somehow none of those present can verify it. Cleaver's a liar. He was the most corrupt mayor of Kansas City since Pendergast. He's now taken corruption to Washington. But, that's the norm for the corruptocrat party.

Like Pelosi, Cleaver is in a safe district but I'm helping his opponent to give Cleaver a run for his money.

"alanramsey" is about as ignorant of early American history as he is of the Constitution.

Our so-called representatives ignore us. If we call too many times to express why a bill is a bad idea, they threaten to have us arrested. A TEA party activist mailed a tea bag with explanation to a NH congress-scum. She did have him arrested. All things considered, alanramsey should be glad window warriors are limiting it to windows, just trying to get the scums' attention.

Interesting that the punk compares people protesting imposed socialism to national Socialists. No, history in general isn't the boy's strong point.

What do you call our massive protests, with packed and furious townhalls you stupid Collectivist, cocksucker!?!?

Feel free not to show this comment Mike.

Also, it is very clear that they are willing to continue Clinton's Serbian ROE.

"Domestic terrorism," eh? Really? I think they are in for an unpleasant surprise if they consider a brick terrorism.

Agree with Matt!

"Violence is never the answer" is the chant of men without balls who keep their privileged position through the sweat and blood of other men better than themselves.

They're otherwise known as "eunuchs".

personally, I'm absolved, I woke up in the National Socialist States of America this morning, scared and alone, the act of tyranny committed against the citizens last night will not be tolerated, now I'm just very tired and very pissed off, how am I going to explain this to my children so that they will understand that their freedom has been pushed so close to the edge that we are teetering on the brink, When the democrats screw up the end game as they have done so many times before in our history this country will be exactly like Afghanistan, a putrid sh*thole, not a place to be proud of, not a place that's free, a place like eastern europe, makes me sick

Sounds like alamramsey enjoys being in the new Amerika, that is run by the communists, and any and all individual freedoms can and will be taken away from us.

If he really wants people that take part in anti-constitutional and anti-American behavior, held accountable for their actions, and have them them charged with domestic terrorism, maybe the boy should wake up and start the winnowing process in the city of Washington, District of Criminals.

I get really tired of stupid folks that obviously have their heads jammed so far up their rectal orifices, that they are in need of a glass bellybutton so as to see. Unfortunately, they still have their vision distorted through a film of excrement.

And.... I would be willing to wager that this alanramsey is one of those hand wringing, bed wetting, little fairies, that support Morris Dees and his merry band of sexual deviants.

The commenter has no clue how idiotic he sounds.

As we know, our society has its roots in broken windows - not to mention tar-and-feathers (always horrible, often fatal) and bullets!

The best part was when he first called *US* "nazis" then proceeded to call for violent treatment of those who act or even SPEAK against "HIS PARTY."

The STOOoopid - it BUUUuuurrrnns!!

I've been waiting for just such an event, though - ever since you openly called for action. I won't be one bit surprised to see any and all caught tossing bricks to be declared "domestic terrorists" and treated worse than the real ones.

Will this constitute the justification needed?

Exactly my thoughts Matt before I even clicked on the comments.

If it wasn't for violence we wouldn't be a nation today but still a group of colonies.

For the first time I do sense this whole thing is a tinderbox ready to flare to life with the right spark.

Yet I think so many citizens are still laying all their hopes on November as well.

It will prove to be an interesting Summer.

Those who engage in the destruction against our Constitution of Bill of Rights... wow. Pot calling the kettle black. Where exactly in the Bill of Rights or the Constitution does BUY OR DIE health insurance fit in?

Terrorism is becoming an over-used word. Tossing a brick through a window, although not exemplary behavior certainly does not constitute terrorism.

As far as the use of the 'nigger', it has been pointed out elsewhere that extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence.Anyone recall Tawana Brawley (sp??) and the good Rev Al Sharpton episode? He inspired more than 1 racially fueled riot through his lies.

the left is attempting to reframe. it reads like something out of solzhenitsyn. dont argue. just keep throwing. slash tires if the car has an obama bumper sticker. and remember corporate america was behind this bill. a repeal is not forthcoming so maybe collapse is the only alternative.

I feel so offended by being stereo typed in this manner.

Bricks are a terrorist weapon? Maybe I should walk around wearing a brick vest.

Though I like the idea of putting "III" on any window bound bricks, "Wolverines" might be a humorous second place.

I woke up this morning a man with no country. Mine was murdered March 21, 2010.

There was an impostor in its place. It looked the same, and adopted some of the mannerisms, speech patterns, and garb of my country. But it was a double, a doppleganger, meant to fool the enemies of the murderers of my country.

I have a great deal of enmity for its killers. Even if they leave me alone, I can not promise reciprocation.

It's intimidation when the enemies of liberals do it. It's good politics when it's a democrat doing it. SEIU anyone?

The Asheville Citizen-Times - or as we in Western North Carolina call it - Pravda.

BTW they are owned by Gannett which also owns the Rochester newspaper. The Citizen-Times used to be a decent paper until Gannett bought them.
