"Embrace the suck!": Taking hits and keeping on.

Well, like my son says, "Embrace the suck!" Take a look at what collectivist ire has done for the number of hits on this site. (Strangely, the calender is one day off. Has been ever since I started. Maybe the sitemeter is across the international date line.)

One thing for sure, the national media attention is bringing like-minded folks to Sipsey Street, along with the dregs of the collectivist gutter. The dregs will lose interest in time. The goodun's will stay.

Nothing like free publicity courtesy of your opponent.

Up the Republic!

Excellent. Hopefully more will stay than go.

All they are doing is amplifying your voice. They have essentially thrust a microphone in front of you. I liken it to the speech Ms. Taggart gave in Atlas Shrugged. They are forcing you to speak though they can't comprehend what they hear.

On behalf of all conservatives, I ask you to please adopt a civil tone truly worthy of the conservative movement. Your window war sounds Stalinesque. WWJD? I think you know the answer.

Explain to me why these so-called Progressives are so angry at Mike? They've trampled over the Constiution for years, starting with Wilson and moving onto FDR. Remember FDR when he threatened the Supreme Court with early retirement after they had thwarted his despotic programs for year? Progressives don't like to discuss past crimes which they built their ideological empire upon. The Federal Reserve, the perversion of the income tax, the "Raw" Deal, etc. I could go on and on. Now they're suddenly threatened by the people pushing back? The people should have ran these despots off on a rail decades ago. From my perspective, we've been very patient and civil.

Count me in as a goodun. I came accross after reading something somewhere (can't remember now as I've been reading your site for a couple of hours...) Great stuff.

Where can I get a 3'pers flag?

Further around the bend, beyond the Window War...

Obviously some pissed Bad Actors, but I expect the same sort of "headlines" as the resistance gathers speed / heat.

I found your site through an article on the DrudgeReport... they mentioned your name and that you have a blog, so I HAD to learn more. So far, I love what I'm reading! Keep up the good work!

You made CNN. The media seems to be in a hurry to conflate a couple of broken windows with the threat of personal violence to make the case for a tamp-down (beat-down?) more weighty. I hope and pray the feds have the wisdom to know the difference between a felony and a misdemeanor. Otherwise, the next few days or weeks could be, unfortunately, very interesting.

Dear liberals, you have pressed us against a wall. We've got nowhere to go, and rapidly are running out of things to lose. What do you think the reaction will be if you and your leaders in DC keep pressing us to give up our freedoms and our faith? I pity us all - I pity you, for you are drunk with the power a super majority has brought and realize not what it is you do to our once great nation. I pity us, for many of us will die in the defense of liberty. Do you require our blood to feel validated in your lifestyle choices and your godlessness? Think hard before you answer.

Just remember - it's your aggression against our freedoms and our faith that have prepared us for your ultimate treachery. You could have walked past the hornets nest without poking it with a stick, but poked it you have. If you find the fight to finally stamp out the founding principles of this nation along with our personal freedoms to be a difficult and costly one, you have only yourselves to blame.

I die free.

And there you have proof that of a RELIGIOUS LEFT alive and well in this country.

You damn well don't speak for ME Mr Anonymous self-styled Conservative!

Rather than try and take on the qualities of the deity, maybe you should be asking "What would Samuel Adams do?"

In the first century, he made a whip of cords and drove the theives out. And, being God incarnate, when throwing the whip He surely hit His mark every single time.

Well, He might pick up a whip, knock over the tables, and drive the money changers out of the temple. (See generally, any of the four Gospels.)

Of course, that action was instrumental in getting Him tried, convicted, and sentenced to death.

Next question please.

Anonymous at 8:24 asked, "WWJD?"

Jesus was defiant in nearly every instance concerning those having power over the people. From the Pharisees Jesus despised for their corruption to refusing to speak as ordered by Roman authorities; Jesus defied them all. He had something he had inherited from God Himself and he answered to no human authority, despite knowing where that path would take him in the end.

We as Americans also have something we inherited from God: Freedom! We are born free to speak, make our own decisions, enjoy the fruits of our labors, etc. We are also free to be lazy and not work hard, but we will reap what we sow.

The minute someone claims to have authority over us in such a way as to deny us the freedom we inherited at birth we have no choice but to defy the powers that be. We have been very patient for decades, but our patience has now run out.

Like Jesus did on the Temple Mount, righteous anger which leads to violence can be justified.

So here we are: Power and control versus liberty and freedom. What an interesting battle it will be.

Another positive of this exposure is that "Absolved" will have a wider audience. Still, I don't see Beck hawking this one. :)

Hmmmm... lemme think about this a minute. OK, lemme think a second...
Jesus would not bow His knee before any tyrant or pretend king.
He would take the whip and scour those trampling the temple. He would stand on the mount and tell the crowd to "let no man tell you that you cannot believe in Me."
He would shout from the rooftops that, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life... woe be unto any who do not allow this message to be preached from one end of the earth to the other."
He would say, "Suffer the little children to come unto Me- hinder them not."
He would say, "those who will not defend their own are less than non-believers."
As to those who question Mike's, or anyone's I.Q... "even the very stones cry out for the glorious day of the Lord." or, "even Balaam's donkey was smart enough to not go against God."
So it's obvious your I.Q. is below that of a stone or an ass.
'Nuff said.
