0852CDT. Here's my take on these raids so far, and I hope to Hell the Three Letters get this message before they do something stupid.
As near as I can determine, no shots have been fired, no one has been killed and no houses or churches have burned down. I know that muster alerts have gone out to units all over the country, and people are getting ready and awaiting further word.
But here's the deal, Feds. If you kill anyone or burn somebody's house or church down with them inside, you will have started a civil war, no matter how despicable the Hutaree are, or how crazy, or how provocative. If that happens, there will be NOTHING responsible leaders of the constitutional militia movement will be able to do from our side to stop it. You will have crossed the Rubicon.
The Hutaree have indicated in the past that, much like John Brown, they WANTED to start a civil war, which is why no responsible militia group in Michigan was willing to ally with them.
But if you give them what they want, there will be nothing anybody else can do to stop it, you stupid blundering bastards.
May God have mercy on our country, its arrogant government and uncomprehending people but in any case, may God save the Republic.

FBI raids in Washtenaw, Lenawee counties tied to Michigan militia group
Posted: Today, 2 minutes ago
The FBI conducted raids Saturday night in Washtenaw County and Lenawee County in an investigation involving members of Hutaree, a Christian-oriented militia group based in Lenawee County, AnnArbor.com has learned.
The nature of those raids has not been made public. FBI Special Agent Jason Pack, who is based in Washington, D.C., said he did not know how many people were taken into custody. Gina Balaya, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Detroit, could not be reached for comment today.
Michigan Militia member James Schiel, second from left, told AnnArbor.com today that five people were arrested in the raids. He is pictured with Hutaree member Wendy Lineweaver, a member who goes by the name Chainsaw, a member named Kevin, and Will Bachman. In the photo, they were helping local law enforcement officials search for a Bridgewater Township man who was missing in February.
"I can confirm that there is ongoing law enforcement activity in the Ann Arbor general area," Pack said in a written statement. "Since the federal warrants are under court ordered seal, legally we cannot provide further comment at this time."
Local Michigan militia member Jimmy Schiel said he was told five people were arrested - including one known member of Hutaree. Schiel said the five were reportedly arrested during a raid at a service in the Ann Arbor area for a Hutaree member who died recently. Schiel was told about eight Hutaree members were present. Schiel, who said he was invited but did not attend, spoke to a Hutaree member who was at the service, he said.
Hutaree members couldn't be reached for comment today. As AnnArbor.com reported last week, several Hutaree members were recently involved in searches in Bridgewater Township after two residents went missing in separate incidents. Schiel worked closely with Hutaree members during those searches.
The Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia has not been targeted in any raids, spokesman Mike Lackomar said. The group posted a message on its website today saying, "Neither michiganmilitia.com nor the SMVM have been 'raided' by the FBI. We do nothing illegal."
The FBI set up a command post at the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department late last week. Sheriff's spokesman Derrick Jackson could not be reached this morning.
Several other raids took place around the same time in Ohio and Indiana, although it's unclear whether they were related. The Ohio raids took place in Sandusky and Huron, and the Indiana raid occurred in Hammond.
UPDATE: 1307CDT. It is about pipe bombs according to FOX News.
Arrests Made in Alleged Militia Activity in Midwest
Seven people have been arrested for allegedly selling pipe bombs in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, Fox News has learned.
Seven people have been arrested for allegedly selling pipe bombs in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, Fox News has learned.
The arrests and raids in Michigan and Indianapolis are related to alleged militia activity in the region, but are not related to international terrorism. There is not a current threat to the public, according to a law enforcement source.
An official for the FBI's Michigan bureau said initial court appearances are expected in Michigan on Monday.
No mention at all on websites of mainstream newsies Fox, MSNBC(NBC), CBS and CNN.
No surprise there.
I have no doubt it's to keep
the raids out of public spotlight(nationally),for as long as possible, to maintain the tactical advantage of "ignorance is bliss."
However, they really could not keep the local affiliates from broadcasting reports. They can only subsist on meals of cats stuck up a tree, drunk driving arrests and liquor store robberies for so long. As those sorry bastards are always worshipping at the temple of police scanner radio; hovering around like starving vultures, fanatically intent and without limits in search of a meal.
Most sincerely, not anonymously, dwayne chandler.
How odd. I went to bed around 0100 with the oddest feeling that things we less right in the world that normal (even worse than the normal "not right" feeling with the progressives in charge).
Hope you make it to Church after spending the night up on alert.
Say a couple of extra fervent prayers for cooler heads and more time. I can promise you I will.
Can this be connected to the National Minutemen group disbanding three days ago after a call up to the AZ border?
I think your are right Mike.
Out to do some sight confirmation.
someone posted this in WRAM
so let me get this straight:
the ping got across, but there's a media blackout of it now. remember how matt drudge became huge? he aired a media blackout of president clinton's... irrational exuberance. play that card up.
the ping got across, and it didn't even have time to get associated with "mistaken identity" crazies... because the FBI just cleared the field for you. there's nobody significant to taint the message (i could be wrong about that, i'm not well-informed). and there's a media blackout of that, too? so nobody even knows that it could have happened.
and nobody touched one hair of a single rock-thrower.
what more could you ask for in one weekend? election to the u.s. house of representatives?
What raids are you talking about? The ones in Michigan?
There are local news reports on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uyak-E5gTAY and
Fox has it in their crime page.
Apparently someone was selling pipe-bombs. At least that's what they've reported.
Agreed - the troubling and unacceptable SS element of this is the solid front of the local LE and whatever paramilitary ops groups staged the 'raids'.
Stating that they cannot say who was arrested, why they were arrested, who DID the arrests, where they were taken, what they were charged with, and the local 'law' 'can't tell' because of a court order - is that more like the JBT Nazis, or the KGB ? Or some other bunch of gutless, corrupt thugs in some tinhorn third-world dictator's hellhole?
I don't care WHO the arrests were against, whether Identity freaks or Ragheads or Zombies = that air of secrecy, that attitude that the 'raiders' are above the law and beyond the public's right to know, seems identical to the death squads in South America.
This is quite interesting, I wonder what the story's REALLY about...
It is now on FAUX News...
Why can't they have a good old-fashioned press conference?
"Good morning. Today at [z], the [z], operating jointly with [z] and [z], acted on a court order and arrested [z] in connection with the fabrication and sales of pipe bombs. We found [z],..."
If I can write a press briefing in 60 seconds, the law enforcement community's stunned silence makes me want to throw up in my mouth.
Well, here we go ... again.
Let the demonizing begin.
Now all the sheeple will know beyond a shadow of doubt in their small little minds that all of us are making pipe bombs at this very moment.
The horror of us!
It is on drudge report
Where are the raids on the muslims - black and otherwise who are threatening America?
Like Red Door Virginia?
Drudge has 4 articles relating to this.
Glen Feck!I couldn't have said it any better.
I find this pipe bomb business, pretty flimsy:Hell any teenagers can build one that has $15.00.Sounds more like a entrapment story to me.And I really haven't seen any thing out of Hutaree that makes me think they where trying to start a fight.I think these are practice runs for bigger game and to see if anyone came to their aid.I think they got their answer.
Anyone else get a feeling the Feddies are playing the brinksmanship game? One side breaks a few windows; they respond with a show of force.
Here's some more information from another blog site.
All of this just made Drudge. Read the links to media stories, pay close attention to details, observe some of the things the Feds needed to be successful, etc.
Glad this didn't turn out to be another Waco.
You're flying in high company now. In today's Sunday Lexington (KY) Herald Leader, columnist Eugene Robinson has you lumped with Palin and other, nameless, "Tea Party leaders" as responsible for violence against our bloated leaders (oops, Freudian moment...that should read "beloved leader", comrade). He's calling for "political leaders" to "stop this madness before someone gets hurt". Sounds like they're worried. Keep up the good work.
It positively REEKS of false flag, IMO. "Sealed Warrants"? No explanations, no names, just a half dozen souls snatched up in the night to be hauled off to Lord only knows where.
I would like some answers, but big brother doesn't seem to want to provide.
Of interest to note is that the fed agents had the full blessing and assistance of state agencies.
I'll be watching this one closely.
Interesting so aledgedly "making threats of violence against Islamic groups" nets you a "small army descending on the area" With check points, helicopters etc. This along with sealed arrest and warrant records and lack of news releases.
Yet strapping a bomb to your crotch gets you full public exposure, civil rights and defense lawyers and immediate denial of any religious targeting.
This despite the fact that the crotch bomber was a foreigner and the Christian Militia guys are US citizens? Not to mention the bomber was a BOMBER and the Militia guys just made threats.
This country is so passed the point of no return. Even if the Christian Militia people were guilty of making threats can no one see the problem here?
May God help us all.
First they came for Hutarees...

Meanwhile, it was a quiet day on the grounds of the nation's Muslim terrorist training grounds. The beautiful sound of the call to prayer rang from the loudspeakers as the jihadists put away their backpack bombs and explosive underwear and unrolled their prayer rugs...
Anyone know what law the militias broke, to prompt a raid?
March 28, 2010 2:00 PM
Uh ... you forgot explosive Muslim boobs via breast enhancement.
"Excuse me, those are rather large boobs ma'am. Silicone or C4?"
But what about raiding homegrown jihadist arm camps in America (Islamberg, NY for one example). Oh yeah, the jihadists have no qualms shooting non-beleivers whether in or out of uniform. I guess I too would play it safe so as not to use my cadillac medical insurance plan and even better retirement benefits.
Not that I have any sympathy for a group with an 'evil Jew' chat but I worry far more about islam [Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."].
Gosh, it looks like you were right after all. Can there be any doubt that they will be coming for you next? Too bad your army of brick throwers is scattered to the four winds. Oh well, you are all on your own there, fellow. God Bless You.
(CNN) -- Federal agents arrested at least seven members of a self-proclaimed Christian militia group in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio over the weekend, according to the FBI and a leader of another militia organization.
The target of the raid was a group called the Hutaree, which proclaims on a Web site that it is "Preparing for the end time battles to keep the testimony of Jesus Christ alive."
As many as six members of the group were arrested at a wake for one of its members, and the property of its leader was searched by federal agents, said Mike Lackomar, a county leader for the Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia, who cited the FBI for his information.
No details of the charges against any of those taken into custody were immediately available.
The arrest warrants remain under court-ordered seal, FBI spokesman Jason Pack said Sunday. At least two of the arrests were in the Ohio towns of Huron and Sandusky, but the case is being handled out of Detroit, said Scott Wilson, an FBI spokesman in Cleveland.
Lackomar, who told CNN his own group is aimed at "aiding the community in times of emergency," called the Hutaree a "religious militant group" with about a dozen members.
He said Hutaree members trained with his organization "on a couple of occasions in years past" but stopped about a year ago, after having an issue with federal firearms regulators. He did not elaborate.
"some of those arrested face gun charges"
Federal warrants were sealed, but a federal law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity said some of those arrested face gun charges and officials are pursuing other suspects.
The post about that being a "test" run to test solidarity was interesting.
I'm interested in talking about which types of groups will be "worth" uniting and defending. I mean, the media could spin every group, company, and squad out there with some type of "extremist" or "wacko" label.
The whole movement could be brought down, one raid at a time, while we sit and watch, shaking our heads at the "wackos" who were "stupid" enough to get caught.
What if the Hutaree had fired and there WAS a fight? What then? What about when they come for you with trumped up charges, or me?
The movement is in sore need of solidarity. We need to lay down clear lines, at least here on SSI. That's just my opinion.
Maybe the only thing that prevented this from being another Waco was lax security on the Hutaree's part. What if they resisted and were burned? Would we wait years from now to cluck our tongues and say how bad the feds were?
Food for thought, that's all.
If so, the Feds chose well. The media don't have to spin much on this one. The Hutaree's own websites are enough to make me disinclined to hit the reset button to avenge them. I'll probably drop a sawbuck in the hat for their legal defense fund on 1st Amendment principals, I'm a bit leery about going to the mat for someone who'd happily send me & mine to the stake...
They are testing the water!!! Stand ready!
Something to keep in mind though, that the Michigan Militia apparently has folks of Islamic heritage answering the phones. Wonder how that happened.
I really have nothing to add other than to say that Mark Koernke is a giant douche.
"Anyone else get a feeling the Feddies are playing the brinksmanship game? One side breaks a few windows; they respond with a show of force."
Bingo! And picked the most disreputable group possible for it, for better PR effect.
Last I checked, pipe bombs are protected by the 2nd Amendment (whatever the Supreme Court says). And the FBI and BATFE are unconstitutional police forces.
BTW, just as we shouldn't jump on the train whacking Hutarees (whatever our personal thoughts about them), we shouldn't do the same with Muslim self-defense forces either. The 2nd Amendment does not say, "...except for Muslims." That is just an example of being suckered in the fed's "divide and conquer" game.
Our enemies are not people of religions we don't happen to agree with. Our enemies are the statist ruling class in D.C.
--sigh-- There is no such thing as "Islamic descent".
Islam is not a race or country. It is a belief system that is prevalent in several races and many countries.
Let's get educated here, ok?
