ATF used F&F "to help justify new gun control regulations–without telling the public that ATF was actually facilitating the delivery of weapons." I wasn't going to post today, but this just came in from Sharyl Attkisson.

It has been more than four years since Brian Terry's murder. FOUR YEARS since David Codrea and I first heard about "gunwalking" being related to his death in tips from ATF whistleblowers. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about how, once again, the murdering collectivist bastards of the federal militarized police have gotten away with mass murder in service to their interlocking agendas. Now Sharyl Attkisson has a story derived from recently released documents that just makes my boil once more, even though there is nothing here that our sources didn't report at the time and that we in turn wrote about -- yet no one (including the NRA's leadership) believed us. The link: Belatedly Released and Revealing Fast & Furious Docs
Clues as to why President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder kept the public documents secret for so long may be found in one 60-page release examined below. Nearly three years after-the-fact, its news value is diminished. If these documents had been turned over when Congress subpoenaed them or when they were first requested under FOI law, they would have revealed damaging information in the lead-up to President Obama’s re-election in 2012. By exerting executive privilege, the President and Holder kept them hidden until the court challenge forced their release. The reason for the 60-page grouping of materials isn’t apparent. Documents that long predate Fast and Furious are mixed in with relevant documents. Redactions aren’t justified or explained. Inexplicably, even Congressional testimony that had been publicly presented to Congress was included in documents withheld under President Obama’s sweeping executive privilege. . . .
Multi-Agency Participation in Fast and Furious
There is evidence of widespread knowledge of and participation by several federal agencies in the controversial Fast and Furious gunwalking case that let traffickers put thousands of weapons into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. Agencies participating in Fast and Furious included the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement branch (ICE), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Phoenix Police Department. A January 2011 “Key Messages: Tasking Points” memo (p. 14) generated by the Public Affairs Division at ATF headquarters in Washington D.C. stated:
“The Fast and Furious investigation is just one of a number of firearms trafficking cases perfected by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) Strike Force, a multi-agency team of investigators from ATF, DEA, ICE, IRS, and the Phoenix Police Department.”
“In October 2009, Operation: Fast and Furious, an ATF lead OCDETF investigation into a firearms trafficking organization funded by the Sinaloa DTO, kicked off in Phoenix. Although this investigation was lead [sic] by ATF, it was a multi-agency effort involving DEA, ICE, IRS, and the Phoenix Police Department.”
The multi-agency participation makes Attorney General Holder’s claim of ignorance of the the cross-border operation all the more perplexing and, assuming it’s true, seemingly more egregious.
And then there's this:
Justification for New Gun Control Regulations
ATF’s internal Public Affairs Talking Points show the agency was using Fast and Furious to help justify new gun control regulations–without telling the public that ATF was actually facilitating the delivery of weapons to Mexican drug cartels.
Murdering bastards. All for a bloody agenda.

Lets see if they ratify the UN small arms treaty next.
Best wishes Mike, to you and Rosie.

...all for a VERY bloody agenda. It's been the 'gift' that keeps on killing.

I can not fathom the almost total lack of genuine interest in this case. I have appealed to my Senator, Charles Grassley, over and over about this. All I get in return is a carefully crafted, non-specific email on the subject.

I have posted Fast and Furious information everywhere that would accept it (and there were many sites that would not let me post the information)as it came out. There should be more on my other harddrive.

Operation Gunrunner, Fast and Furious (Impeachable and prosecutable)

Got the funding for Operation Gunrunner (Fast and Furious) on his second try, rolled into the stimulus package a month later. H.R.1 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Ordered the sale of arms to illegal gunrunners for foreign nation used against and killing US citizens on American soil, also resulted in the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry using one of the trafficked guns.

ATF leadership appears to have been effectively muzzled while the DOJ sent over false denials and buried its head in the sand,"

… "That approach distorted the truth and obstructed our investigation."

… the activities of other agencies such as the Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI, perhaps even the U.S. Attorneys Office and the Department of Homeland Security.
At an oversight hearing last month, three federal firearms investigators testified that they wanted to "intervene and interdict" the guns at the border, but were repeatedly ordered to step aside and let the traffickers proceed.

"Allowing loads of weapons that we knew to be destined for criminals this was the plan," John Dodson, an ATF agent, told the panel. "It was so mandated."
Agent Olindo James Casa said that "on several occasions I personally requested to interdict or seize firearms, but I was always ordered to stand down and not to seize the firearms."

Project Gun Runner (Fast and Furious) was launched under the orders of President Barack Obama with the knowledge of Attorney General Eric Holder. Deputy Attorney General David Ogden announced the Obama Administration's new and aggressive 'comprehensive plan' on March, 24, 2009. The plan was aimed at disrupting gun trafficking between the United States and Mexico. The first words were: “The President has directed us…” (

Holder’s first taxpayer-funded trip noted in the documents was to an April 2009 “US/Mexico Arms Trafficking Strategy Meeting” (government cost “unavailable”) concerning gun-running between the US and Mexico, an issue in which the attorney general subsequently said he had no involvement.

Mike, Mike, Mike. The drug cartel is itself a creation of the US government, through its "War on Civil Liberties" - er, I mean, "War on Drugs". Why wouldn't they arm an agency of their own creation? Particularly when they can use that arming to further their enslavement of the peons? The whole thing is a beautiful example of criminal enterprise. It exceeds even Lenin's inventiveness.

But then, government is essentially criminal. No surprises here. The only surprise is that people continue to believe in its legitimacy. Nothing shakes that faith.

Mike, a couple of years ago, I wrote this:

"Men (and entities with female genitalia) work for that agency voluntarily. They do it because they WANT to. They do its work diligently. They have no problem with the obvious ethical and logical contradiction of doing the agency's work after swearing an oath not to. They swear in public that they are "good guys". Then they give us "Fast and Furious". They swear they are all about making America safe, then smuggle weapons to gangsters. They say they don't have an anti-gun-ownership agenda, and then lobby Congress for more gun control laws to enforce."

I have a difficult time working up any sympathy for men like Jay Dobyns and Vince Cefalu. They cannot say, especially after Waco, that they didn't know...

Mike, you made a mistake in this piece. I think because you had reservations about posting today.

Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of us understood you and David were telling the truth right from the beginning.

I read about gun walker for about a month, several weeks anyway, and MY BLOOD boiled about not only the corruption, deadly corruption, itself but that media was literally ignoring it! That the NRA and even supposed "more local" gun rights "organizations" were poo pooing this story.

I'm February I wrote a hasty post pointing to David's pieces over at Newsbusters calling out Issa to let it fly. I couple other regulars there tried their best to get Newsbusters to dig and post- but they had to be dragged along much skin to the NRA! I implored David to craft a piece for Andrew Breitbarts big government at the time - as I was fortunate enough to be part of a writing group that boosted the SHOREBANK scandal to levels outside the lamest team media. I didn't realize at the time that David wrote for a living, but he was kind enough to correspond in mails with me to explain that to me.

I suppose your correct that certain folks "who matter" might not have believed you guys, whistleblowers prolly felt that way too, but NEVER FORGET this-

Your efforts, all of you, forced those who "matter" to deal with this and now it makes them look complicit....because their notion that you guys, and we "little people" don't "matter" is proven absolutely false.

Nobody can hide from the truth forever, brother. And many political careers will come to an end over this chicanery. Eventually. Legacies will always be affected too, for all history. And THAT is what truly "matters".

So...knowing how the current ATF will lie, cheat and claim ignorance all for an agenda, if I am for sure and innocent law abiding citizen and I see the ATF coming, should I just start shooting and claim self defense?

Chris Bauman,

I'm not sure how to say this gently, seeing as you seem unaware of it. So, I'll just say it straight out:

You have no representation in the national government.

No individual voters do.

"The ruling class can no longer tolerate dissent. Dissent appears to have died with most of the rest of Western culture. Bourgeois democracy has been replaced with a very American style of "market" fascism. They are making it very clear what they most fear, though, and it is us. They fear us rising up in defense of our own interests and with every new overreach they are making such an uprising more and more inevitable."
