No shield for YOU! Schumer as the media shield nazi.

The bill's protections would apply to a "covered journalist," defined as an employee, independent contractor or agent of an entity that disseminates news or information. The individual would have to have been employed for one year within the last 20 or three months within the last five years.

It would be too funny to see conservative news outlets handing out contracts to bloggers like dispensing condoms in a cheap gas station.

Somebody needs to put this guy on their 4GW 'to do' list.

Every supporter of "shall issue" had BETTER come out in support of this. It's the same damned thing.

Well. It looks like the barstids have found an exploitable loophole in the 1st Amendment. I doubt the "honorable" members of the boneless chicken ranch in the House will put up much of a fight.

Since David (and KH and others) works for Examiner.com, do you suppose that would (at least until) the poxy barstids close THAT loophole) satisfy Schumer's definition of "employed"?

And you have still done more damage to the cause of liberty than he has. My only question is this: Are you a federal agent? Or are you too stupid to understand that you help them more than us? You present no solutions and create many problems. You have spent your coin of influence Mike; No one with a brain thinks that you are helping. In fact many of us now believe your blog is a PSYOP. Its time for you to Go away. Spend your last days with your family. Your influence with the FREEFOR is for the most part ended.

If you take in any revenue for your website that provides news and information, you could claim to be a self-employed reporter. This is similar to the old "press credentials" used to exclude people from press events.

I will not comply with their bullshit, period. The motto on my blog is:

"As long as I am an American citizen and American blood runs in these veins I shall hold myself at liberty to speak, to write, and to publish whatever I please on any subject." – Elijah Parish Lovejoy (1802-1837)

I own my own domain and will publish whatever I damn well want, when I want and Schumer can kiss my white ass!
