"Anti-hate group blamed for inspiring Family Research Council gun attack dumped by FBI."

My buddy Bob Wright called me from New Mexico this morning with this news: The Southern Poverty Law Center, which has labeled several Washington, D.C.-based family organizations as "hate groups" for favoring traditional marriage, has been dumped as a "resource" on the FBI's Hate Crime Web page, a significant rejection of the influential legal group.
Of course the bastards still get government contracts to do "hate group" briefings to federal, state and local law enforcement.

Being dumped by the fibbies will deal a huge blow to lobbying efforts for future contracts. Not being able to your the FBI will hurt their "credibility" among clueless lawmakers.

On a more joyful note, but off-topic: California's most rabidly anti-gun state Senator arrested by the FBI on bribery, corruption, gang activity, and gun trafficking charges. It turns out he *does* know the difference between auto and semi-auto, because he asked the under-cover FBI agent which he wanted to buy. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=911537

You and I both being transplants to this wonderful state, Mike, but likewise realists of the first order, know that Alabama is far from perfection in either our politics or some of the dregs of society that we must share the air with here. But if there is one thing that makes living here a challenge to my tolerance, it has been sharing oxygen with the likes of Morris Dees, Potok and the rest of those cretins down there at the SPLC. This news makes the space-sharing just a tiny bit more tolerable.

And the ADL got the same treatment! Hoorah! Among a few dozen others on these internets of billions, I share the distinction of being quoted by that den of miscreants in their 2010 submission to DHS that will no longer be accepted and/or highlighted because of this decision by the fibbies. I was on The Tree of Liberty forums and several posters' posts were quoted from there in that submission. I am known as "BluesStringer" at the Tree, and my quote can be seen at the following link near the bottom of Page 17.

Now the ADL can bite me! HA!

There's a typo in the headline.

Should read:"Anti-gun Hate Group", not "Anti-hate group".

I'm glad that this was posted, but this move by the FBI is merely a half-step. They will continue to associate with the Southern Poverty Law Center, but it will be under "deeper cover". That is just an FBI way of doing business. At some future date, the FBI will be exposed and my theory will be vindicated.
