Here we go again trying to use reason with these tyrants. Eventually, people will stop banging their heads against the wall and realize it isnt about reason, it's about disarmament of the civilian population. Quit trying to reason with them; they don't deserve the courtesy.

Progressive liberalism is a mental disease. You cannot reason with the insane. I am afraid that voting really no longer matters in the big picture.

Understand this - I took this position here in Illinos regarding creating a permission slip system where none existed. The NRA OPPOSED that position and it chose to run off myself and all those who stood up to say NO to these registration and permission schemes.

The NRA prefers to make deals whims closed doors and to convince people that this is the only option.

Well take a good look NRA folks - especially "leadership".
THIS is the PROPER course of action!

We Will Not Comply!

New Jersey Constitution, Article V, Executive, Section I
1.  The executive power shall be vested in a Governor.
11. The Governor shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed. To this end he shall have power, by appropriate action or proceeding in the courts brought in the name of the State, to enforce compliance with any constitutional or legislative mandate, or to restrain violation of any constitutional or legislative power or duty, by any officer, department or agency of the State; but this power shall not be construed to authorize any action or proceeding against the Legislature.

Section III
1. Provision for organizing, inducting, training, arming, disciplining and regulating a MILITIA shall be made by law, which shall conform to applicable standards established for the armed forces of the United States. (caps are mine)

2. The Governor shall nominate and appoint all general and flag officers of the militia, with the advice and consent of the Senate. All other commissioned officers of the militia shall be appointed and commissioned by the Governor according to law.

Article VII, PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES, Section I

l.Every State officer, before entering upon the duties of his office, shall take and subscribe an oath or affirmation to support the Constitution of this State and of the United States and to perform the duties of his office faithfully, impartially and justly to the best of his ability.

All able-bodied Americans plus those lawfully allowed to be here - excluding “public servants” - from age 18 through age 60 are the Militia of the several states. The Militia equals “We the People of the USA” because each state's Militia is made of its lawful citizens excluding “representatives”, and the state's can work together as needed for defense and to enforce the US Constitution or each state's Constitution.

It's strange that New Jersey is trying this stuff again. Don't they remember how well Gov. Florio's gun ban worked? Do they have short memories? Or do they simply not care?

They will learn to care, soon enough. But by then, it will be too late.
