I still have a bunch of old Remington "Kiln Gun" slugs that were used for clinkers in cement kilns. I have weighed the slug at 650 grains with 48 to 50 grains of powder. When fired from the shoulder it takes about 2 weeks for the bruises to fade away. If fired from the hip the recoil will strain a bunch of arm muscles. I gave my kid sister's EX a gallon bucket of them when he worked for a rural Tennessee SO. He told me that when tested would go completely thru 2 cars, so hiding behind the car would not work for the bad guys. I still have a couple hundred of them left. Guess it's time to get a bullet mold machined so I can use old tire weights for replacements. I cannot imagine a ballistic vest keeping the ribs from being torn all to hell if hit with one of these slugs. I guess it could be used as a "Poor Man's" Barrett (but for shorter range) The impact is even better than the "cut shotgun shells".
I've seen this being sold at Lucky Gunner since the beginning of the year; I'm not entirely confident that this is an April Fool's. Novelty, sure, but if it were an April Fool stunt why jump the gun by 2 1/2 months?
I still laughed when I first saw this, hell, I thought of buying some just because some quick wit on FOX correctly pointed out that the first guy to take down a federal drone would become 'an instant hero' to the nation... and I figured it would be cool to watch all my friends turn Envy Green upon seeing my new "special duty loads".

Cute, clever, original, and almost believable. From the comments, they may have to start making it for real.
I'm surprised they didn't "make" the pellets from UnObtainium (Avatar) or UpsaDaysium (Rocky & Bullwinkle).

I'd buy that for a dollar!
