One last link before I go.

New York gun control: Hudson Valley cops balk at enforcement as laws take effect
Of course I'll have to go to New York and break their new unconstitutional laws, too. I'll have to work them in between Colorado in July and my return trip to Connecticut in October. Any suggestions as to when and what?

Sounds as if the NY UNSAFE act is in effect now.

And it also sounds, from the article, that many down staters are more then willing to have LEOs push them around in the name of unConstitutional laws, versus having Peace officers keep the peace, if it means ignoring bad laws.

Hey Mike, as you know, it is still totally illegal here in Illinois to carry a firearm. It appears that the feckless "parties" aren't going to modify the unconstitutional offending code legislatively so we await June9.

I'm betting a good number of people will carry openly that day all around this state. If yer up this way id be happy to treat ya to dinner. Heck, Kurt would prolly make the trip up from the land of the Arch around that time anyway, he could join is. I'd be happy to buy him dinner too.

I think a big ammo warehouse at the Willawana, PA exit of I-86 could be a good business. That is right where the new york state interstate sits just a few yards from the Pennsylvania line.....

The other thing, the guy in Saratoga that sold his rifle to the undercover cop, well, he should have completed the sale in Vermont. It's less than 50 miles away and is a free state when it comes to firearms.

Will you load a mag with 8 rounds?
Or change the stock on a 22?

Mike,

Take along an M1 Carbine, and dare them to classify the old warhorse as an assault weapon.

Be prepared to be arrested. Have a plan to raise cash.

"The individual members of this union did not write the terms of the bill nor vote on its passage," the State Police PBA said. "We urge the citizens of New York State to remember that troopers are simply tasked with the lawful mandate to enforce the laws of the state, regardless of their personal opinion of such laws."

Guess what assholes .... that chicken shit excuse did not work at Nuremberg and it ain't gonna work with this deal. You took an oath to the Constitution not the collectivist bastards you work for. Figure it out now .... later it will be too late.

There will be plenty of New Yorkers to break the laws, so what is the point of your going there to do that? I'm sure you don't want to spend a lot of time in a New York state prison. Again, what would be the point? You can do much more for the cause of Liberty at your keyboard than pulling useless stunts like that, Mike.

Bring a box of 8 round full moon clips for S&W 627. They're illegal dangerous high caps in NY...

No specific ideas, but if you're in NY, you're welcome to visit my range in Scarsdale, NY (Westchester County).

Perhaps some variation of the rule Democrats use in Chicago elections: Vote early, vote often!

Alright, dammit -- as long as you're going, where do I send some spare banana clips to give away?

Confusion.

Throw them a bunch of mags from the post-'94 ban. Ten rounders.

See if they (the dolts in the Gummint) can understand the humor.

Bring some hi cap magazines for the New Yorkers. Don't say when you are going. Tell about when you get back to Alabama.
Just remember do not declare a firearm at the NYC airports. The airlines will call the police. If you don't have a NYC permit, you will be arrested. Even other New York permits are not honored.

Mike, I picked up a brochure at Knob Creek for the A&D drum adaptor. www.bazookabrothers.com It is a drum that holds 275 rounds. That should make the New Yorkers go ballistic since the last time I counted, 275 is just a few more bullets than the tiny handful that they want to allow.

In NY, at a range, on video: Load a 10 round mag with 7 rounds. Place in gun, chamber a round. Remove mag, add a round. Place mag in gun. Proceed to fire 8 rounds. Send copy of video to police AFTER editing out the loading procedure. They will arrest you. Maintain your innocence, and exercise your right to silence. In court, show the video that proves you never loaded more than 7 rounds in the mag. Sue EVERYONE involved for wrongful prosecution. Retire.

Listen to what they say only so long as it doesn't distract you from watching what they do.

We'll know for sure if and when NY and NYC officers start resigning and/or being booked into jail.

Like dakota said ... the officers took an oath. They need to honor it and not bow down to the collectivist bastards they work for. Otherwise, they have no claim to immunity.

Do not fly. Between the TSA and the NY Port Authority, too, too fraught with bottlenecks and dangers. Drive instead (rent a car from a nearby state), much easier to slip thru & behind enemy lines, conduct your smuggling and other nefarious deeds, and slip back out again.
Just make sure, when you do your smuggling handover, to include a well known NY landmark in the background for verification.

The NY Police are saying,

"Don't blame us for arresting you under Un-Constitutional Laws! We only do what our paymasters tell us to do!

Whats that? Our oath to the Constitution? Oh yeah, well, the Courts might figure that out eventually, until then, we will fuck up your life... because we can.

Huh? How many rounds in my magazine? Oh, yeah, well, you know, I'm a Law Imposement Officer, they'll get around to making us immune from the laws we impose on you sooner or later, until then we'll pretend the same laws don't apply to us! Cool huh?"

It occurs to not one officer, to stand up and say, "No, Boss! I ain't doin' it!" There should be hundreds doing it publicly. Stone silence. Good fuckin' guys...
