'Gun control,' and the lessons of Boston

What's the relevance? If one or two men can so thoroughly shake the security apparatus of the United States, the idea that the Second Amendment's protection against tyranny is outdated, because the U.S. is now a modern superpower, and therefore "resistance is futile," is simply not going to hold up. Imagine, after all, what even a small militia group of perhaps a dozen members could do, if the battle were not between terrorists and a country whose people can still convince themselves that they're relatively free; but between a determined and angry citizenry who will no longer submit to enduring a long train of abuses and usurpations, and the government perpetrating those abuses. Now imagine a couple dozen of those militia groups. Now imagine hundreds of them.

One man in California and one man in Massachusetts caused those areas to be in lockdown. The U.S. gov't and state and local gov'ts are paper tigers. They have a loud roar. However the day is coming when someone is going to call their bluff. We were lucky it was not 100 terrorists working together.

One assumption the other side makes, as again stated in a reply posted to Kurt's article, is that the military will support the regime if it comes to a civil conflict in the USA. To do so they ignore what happened in 1775-1783 and in 1860-1865. That is that the military establishment also split. Many of the colonists were veterans of the French & Indian War. Some fought under Washington, some against him. Likewise, a famous photograph shows the scene at the hanging of John Brown. In the ranks of the assembled U S Army officers one can pick out all the famous leaders of the Confederate and Federal armies in the Civil War that erupted just a few years later. One need only consider the Oathkeepers currently on active duty and their message to their commanders that they will refuse any illegal orders to understand that what has happened before will surely happen again.

Some of those heavily armed and equipped Marines the poster cites will be on one side of any future Civil War, and some on the other, as will members of all of the other armed services.

200 groups = 200 undercover agents or turned informants, like they tried with Randy Weaver, as well as their technical assets.

They've been watching and planing this for some time, when they should have been watch the real enemies of our country.

When this happens, I think they will be mildly surprised and greatly alarmed and thus double down, which will very much exacerbate their problems. This will be because we no longer believe the Ooops theory of operation and explanations.

Well, their comfort zone of tyranny is going up in a puff of smoke, as only what happens to liars and usurpers, lickspittles and traitors, when the people have had enough of their steenkin' bullshit.

I think the powers that be are very worried about an uprising and revolt.
Well they should be.
I think they know perfectly well the growing discontent and contempt that is held for them by a large number of American's.
I think they know they have created a disaster socially, culturally, politically, economically, through the rape and pillage of our prosperity and inherent wealth, that only they are accountable.
I think they know what they have wrought.
And I think they are afraid of the bitter harvest come to fruition they have sowed.
I think they have created a Gordian knot of epic proportions.
I think their hubris and unchecked power has corrupted them in such a way there is no turning back for them. There is only defeat for their kind. Corruption of every kind entrenched to such a degree it is a political pandemic of avarice for power running rampant.
I think they will do anything to retain this power.
I think soon there will be no limits whatsoever on the crimes and treason committed openly with abandon for any avenue to retain power over the rule of law.
Panic has crept into their actions. You can already see it manifest itself in radical and reactionary acts and behavior of these treasonous scum ruling through their political power and monopoly of violence.

I hold the powers that be are afraid of something. Deep down in their guts.
These tyrants crooks liars, thieves, and traitors, lording their ways of corruption and moral turpitude against us.

This is a fear that haunts their dreams, a fear that permeates their waking hours, fear that influences every move, it is a fear that compels them, "Forward!" The key thing is they are beginning to panic. It is manifesting itself in the lawless disregard of The Rule of Law that is expanding exponentially by the day through the nature of corruption of these elites lust to retain absolute power. For how can these self appointed lords ever understand how us lowly serfs see our Liberty and Prosperity as more important than what these elites think we deserve? Would they not be tyrants if it different?
But one thing all tyrants understand is threats to their power. And what other threat, (except for their own kinds insatiable lust), exists within the borders of this Republic?

I think they are afraid of us.
Afraid of us having arms because, they are afraid of what we could do to them, because of what they are doing to us.

They should be afraid.
I hope they are afraid.
Very afraid.
They should have to be in dire straights for their lives and liberty, out of fear they should have to seek the same protections the Constitution and bill of rights affords us.

As TL Davis succinctly put it, and only becomes more the truth every day:

“It is not ours to restore the power of the Constitution. It is ours to show them the wrath of America without the protections the Constitution offers them.”

“Let them restore it to find refuge from us.”

Uh .... I think they have , hence , the two billion rounds of ammo. Not to mention the weapons to go with it. Sadly all their preparations are not about protecting the population in general ( this was proven in Boston ). The massive preparations we are seeing are for the protection of the corporate fascists and the Sodom on the Potomac puppets who do their biding.

Maybe but I doubt it. It may have not crossed their minds as a possibility or they think they can ride it out behind gated communities, armored limousines, and plenty of well-paid armed guards.

I think it is more likely that Obama wants to pick the fight so he can respond and look presidential and ram more tyrannies down our throats. Recall Clinton in 1995 after the OKC bombing. It resurrected his presidency and let him go onto re-election.

Speaking of Oklahoma ..they didn't lock the city down then. Why now?
Because they can.

You really need to watch this video. This is what a police state looks like for real.
This is what REALLY happened during the Watertown lockdown.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=py4X0UCr-MM

Watch how many people are being frisked and removed from their own home. Absolutely astounding. Now imagine gun confiscation in the process.

As an aside, check out some of the other videos showing the extent to which law enforcement has become militarized. Unbelievable. Looks like Nazi Germany in the 30's. In fact, stories are emerging now how the police reacted to some journalists..even threats to shoot.
Police state indeed.
