I must say I'm envious.

A friend got this as a present from his wife for Christmas. It is a custom-built M14 semi-auto. Aficionados will note the T-44 handguard.
A real beauty.

Nice rifle! Check this out when you get a chance - the Charlotte Observer got caught fabricating an anti-gun story on their website and are being forced to issue a retraction thanks to a firearms forum.

Wow! I'm green with it. Wish I could get something like that for Christmas!

Hey Mike! The Good Book says you shouldn't covet another man's wife!

Neither my wife, nor I, have had that kind of money for each other since day one. Congrats to the lucky fella that received it. (And it looks like it's a, "just-in-time" present.)

Wow! I wonder if his wife has a like-minded sister that's single?

Here is the story, anon of course...The owner got the gun in the late 80's and installed the US Parts, later got a Hahn Machine reweld and sold this one to a friend. Sold the Hahn to someone for very many $$$...All the parts on this one are US GI except the receiver barrel and Gas Cyl lock ring..Glad to have it back, as the parts are almost impossible to obtain cheaply these days...
