Even collectivists at the Daily Kos react poorly to Project Gunwalker. "This lands at Holder's feet." "I've been literally sick to my stomach."

Under the heading of "What were they thinking?!?"

YucatanMan at the Daily Kos comments on the CBS story:

Every now and then, a story comes along that literally knocks the breath out of me.

We have a home in Mexico. Fortunately, it is not in an area wracked by drug violence or Calderon's phony "drug war." We want the whole country to get a respite from the horrors of these bloody, horrible murders. We want it to end permanently.

Imagine my horror when I learned that the ATF had knowingly permitted nearly 2,000 assault rifles, crates of ammunition, and heavy weapons including sniper rifles into Mexico.

Dear god what were they thinking? And they knowingly tracked the upticks in violence where these weapons arrived! They knew people were being murdered with the exact weapons they were letting "slip" across the border.

What the fuck is wrong with these murdering asshole ATF managers in Washington? No. No that is not too strong. They knew exactly what was happening, yet they let it go on and on and on. The agents on site had good moral sense. But their bosses refused to change their orders: "Let the guns go through."

I guess it's OK if brown people are killed, huh? Seriously, is that what they were thinking? Because they knew it was happening.

This lands at Holder's feet: The ATF reports to him and he allowed this "project" to go on. And thus this is Obama's problem too. What's he doing letting Wall Street off the hook and allowing his Justice Department to knowingly stand aside and watch 2,000 deadly weapons and crates of ammunition to end up slaughtering people in Mexico?

He needs to make big big changes and fast. I've been literally sick to my stomach over this all day. Clean house. Now.

Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better. -- Harry S Truman

Wasn't it Truman who was told that he would need to "Scare the Hell out of the American public" to achieve his presidential policies?

Is that what the aim of "Gunwalker" was?

Thankyou progressive, you do have a use...

Yeah, that Truman quote is spooky.

The part about his vacation home in Mexico was the funniest part.

The left will throw anyone under their bus when necessary and that includes their own. In fact, their hierarchy is designed to function in that manner, so that the KOS never suffers and is advanced.

They always have their agenda before them and their intentions and actions are never accidental

You cannot believe a single syllable that comes from their mouths and if you do so by mistake, you and your descendants will regret it. Their KOS, is their life. Everything in their lives, revolves around that KOS.

While you go shooting, golf, play cards, take the kids to the lake, they write propaganda and plot with their "friends" to get the next closet socialist on the school board. While you watch football, have a beer, take a course at your community college, help your neighbor put up his new shed, they meet with their "friends" to discuss training issues and tactics for the next series of demonstrations, marches, protests and private property incursions, which will create more propaganda for their "friends" in the media to present, and also discuss how that propaganda should be presented...

It's what they do and is the very certer of their lives, all the time, every day.

The "brown people" being slaughtered was merely collateral damage.

The real goal of DOJ/ATF's Project Gun Walker/Runner/Fast and Furious was to bolster numbers of American firearms found in Mexico to then bolster American support for more and tighter gun restrictions. It's a crisis that this administration helped to create and sought to exploit to advance their political agenda, but it backfired b/c of people like MIke and David. Which, BTW, would make these two men TARGETS in whatever aftermath this scandal produces.

This plan is criminal at best and tyrannical at worst......we should act accordingly and these traitors and would-be oppressors should be brought to justice.
