NSA won't say whether it spies on Congress

A bet placed on the affirmative would be, to use a phrase from a friend of mine in my youth, "As safe as a pimple on the Pope's bod." (It's Gaelic. Look it up.)

Here in the U.S.A., a silent coup has occurred and we have spy agencies as the real power behind the scenes. We are in serious trouble and it won't end with mere words.
