Praxis: Latino gang tattoos.

"Tattoos are an excellent tool for law enforcement and corrections officers to use to identify known or suspected gang members. This gallery includes examples of tattoos worn by predominanly Latino gangs such as the Mexican Mafia, MS-13, and the Latin Kings. The number "13" is used because M (or La Eme) is the thirteenth letter of the alphabet and is used to signify the Mexican Mafia, which uses SureƱos—gangs that swear allegiance to the Mexican Mafia—to carry out its orders from prison."

Minor visual details like an "X" may be the difference between an American patriot and a "Just Us" gangster wanna-be-warlord at 10-power.

Gang/prison tat's are way different from the marks I see the silly young people in Portland get. ID/claims of murder/affiliation/loyalty, not just indicators of boredom and dissatisfaction with their $15/hr job & soft-"science" degree and the mortgage-without-a-house it came with.

Tribed-up people with extended regional organization and non-electronic ways of identifying each other will have a distinct advantage in an apparently disorganized situation.

Face and hand tattoos indicate a total disregard for the possibility of normal societal interaction, at least with me or mine. If a person is able to intentionally and permanently defile themselves, what are they planning for the out-groups?
