New BDU's are available, but one uniform we (my militia) found is one of the best new ones out there in my opinion.

It is a woodland "digital" pattern, almost identical to the current USMC MARPAT pattern, but cut and sewn like the current US Army ACU. Top and bottom are $65.00, to that add headgear and boots.

The good thing about this is that the ACU is constructed with the soldier in the field in mind. The pockets are located so they're usable while wearing load bearing euipment and frag vests.

Several other colours are available.

@Pat H.
Do you like the MARPAT better than Multicam?

I lost my Gortex pants at some point during a move. Quite irritating considering the price to replace them. How does this chart fit to stuff like that, designed to fit over other stuff, and such?

I recently bought used German army surplus "gore tex" in flecktarn camo from Sportsman's Guide and find it quite serviceable. Be warned, although I normally wear size "regular" to "large" I had to pay more for the "extra large." You can get the whole suit for $40 or $50 and used tops for $30 or $40 all depending on size.
