"Lies, damn lies and statistics."

Everything out of this government is smoke and mirrors.

Mike, you're never going to replace Walter Cronkite with 'news flashes' like that. Now, if you were able to come up with something positive government does (you can't, but IF you could...) then that's different...

The link gets me a NY Post story about the 2014 super bowl.

That's a very simple trick, but so interesting. I guess this is part of the illusion that the economy is going up.

Not really surprised the federal government can´t do anything else right why would one think they could count.

Something Wicked This Way Comes...

Is Mike Vanderboegh still alive?

Some people got a census form, filled it out, returned it; then got another. One person I know got three more after sending the original in? Now me, I never got a form at all; not been visited by a census worker either. If you think there's something wrong with this picture, try spelling c*o*o*k*i*n*g t*h*e b*o*o*k*s. Obama corruption at it's finest.

YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT!. Its all bs, not unlike red light green light.

Why do so many people need more than that.

One positive thing the Government is doing: I've seen more people reading the Constitution of the United States then ever before in my life. They are asking questions and becoming involved. We have yet to see if it is in sufficient numbers to restore our Constitutional Republic. However, we must give Government credit for waking people up.

They had a piece on one of the local channels about a guy who quit the census bureau because of totally moronic rules. Several of the "addresses" to which he was sent were vacant lots - one was just a fence post! Yet he was required to go to each address where he got no response SEVEN TIMES! Whether there actually was a person living there - or even a human habitation of any sort visible - OR NOT!

When asked, the local bureaucrat gave some nonsense explanation about counting everyone being the over riding concern.

Remember people. Those who can, do. Those who cannot go into government so they do not HAVE to. How many civil servants have you come across who were either?

May I add to what you said above?
Those who can, DO. Those who cannot do, TEACH. Those who cannot do either of the above generally work for our Servant's the Government, which is You And I.
