Feds consider new gun regs

The Obama administration is working on new gun control regulations that would target stolen and missing weapons. . .
It is unclear precisely what the draft regulations, drawn up by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and under review at the White House’s regulations office, would do.
The ATF would not comment on the draft rule, since it has not yet been released to the public, but a description provided by the White House asserts that it would target cases where guns go missing “in transit.”

There shouldn't even BE a BATFE to start with, much less one making ""rules" when a legislature is SUPPOSED to make law (oh and be LIMITED regarding certain ummmm ENUMERATIONS!)

The 18th was adopted and ratified, thus admitting that government of republican form DID NOT HAVE AUTHORITY to "regulate" booze and needed to amend the Constitution in order for the people to cede that authority to government. The. 21st REPEALED that delegation of authority, thus restoring it back to the people themselves where said liberty belonged.

So then. Just where is the AUTHORITY for anything the ATF does ?

The congress is NOT empowered to delegate away it's Constititional powers. That creates a SEPARATION OF POWERS crisis.

The only answer can be this - we have a COMPANY, a corporation, acting in place of and instead of a Constitutiinal government. That explains gubmint simply taking over everything from GM to doctoring and energy and , well , everything else inbetween.

The Obamamisadministration is using the company that failed to develop Canada's national gun registration scheme to develope Obamacare's failed website and now they propose BATFE track lost and stolen firearms after BATFE already lost thousands of firearms in Operation Fast & Furious? You have got to be kidding me!

my guess is tht it is aimed at gun owners--a registry of which they are illegally building--for when confiscation is attempted and the, "I lost them when I was fishing" excuse is offered.

They get your guns, and/or, they get you.
