Not only are the people of CT stupid enough to elect such anti-gun politicians, but they are absolute fools to actually register their guns with the State.
Methinks that a few people are trolling - read the article closely.
One person has 179 evil black rifles? What's his ARFcom username?
Another guy has >500K standard capacity mags? Is he having a sale for Labor Day? How much is shipping?
Even the pics are odd - check out pic 3: They got an Evil Black Assault Purse off the streets! For the children! And of course we have the iconic pic of Firearms Training Unit Detective Barbara J. Mattson, of the Connecticut State Police. She doesn't seem too happy with that Bushmaster AR - maybe she's disgusted because it's not 1-in-7 rifling and it's post-ban.
Also, I see that CSP is ready for action with their IDPA triple mag pouches. Hope none of them have to go prone...

@Old Greybeard: FYI...This CT Patriot did not vote for ANY of those assholes, or register a single firearm or magazine! I have been non-compliant since the first generation of their unconstitutional bullshit in 1994, and well before the modern Armed Civil Disobedience of Non-Compliance became widespread. I encouraged many of my fellow gun owners "DO NOT COMPLY!" Some listened, some didn't. Those that didn't told me they were worried about not being able to take their guns and magazines to the range safely to shoot and enjoy. Pity, they did not understand things greater than themselves, that being defense against tyranny in greater numbers without government knowledge of who has what. Sure, I would love to take my now "contraband" out of its easily accessed hiding place to play with, but it serves a greater purpose right where it is.
I always sign my posts with my handle...DARING THE TYRANTS TO COME AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!
This is ENTIRELY about Trying to create a Pre-Text, to Try and get rid of the 1995 Connecticut State Law, that prohibits the release of names of Legal Firearms owners.
If they are able to get rid of this Law, they will be able to have their leftists Hordes ( Armed with a Public list of Firearms owners ) start "Swatting" lawful Firearms owners, by falsely and deliberately reporting them as aiming their Firearms at People in their front yards etc., so Police will ( In theory at least ) be able to than have an excuse to Try and Confiscate those Firearms.
544,000 magazines at even a bargain price of $5 is well-over $2.5M That must be a new form of Social Security, the "Obamaplan 401(k)". Invest your money and the government will ban and confiscate it, then use your former "investment" in paramilitary raids on the rest of us.
So Sodomite Mike Red ,KGB Lawlor. Is up to his old collectivist gun grabbing diarrhea of the mouth ,ranting's again.. I believe ,they will make an example of the 51,000 ,that registered. Maybe a tax ,liability insurance. Inspections to see f they are under lock and key. Or another false flag .To confiscate, the ones that they know about. Surely ,they will be stirring the shit pot again. At the least ,the list of who registered ,will be outed. And the witch hunts will begin. Many Ct Patriot's don't want this fight. But they won't back down. A second Lexington and Concord is fast approaching. For us here in Ct. Behind enemy lines. In collectivist Ct. I will not comply, nor stand down. AAA/O. 11B20. The Tree of Liberty and the Charter Oak will be refreshed. And it's long over due.
Greybeard is right ... being from CT I know. Few actual Americans live in this state. I tried...I tried. I have the other 49,000 assault weapons LOL Really I don't know anyone who registered. So there's that.

According to the original article, one fellow has 544k magazines? Is that a misprint? WOW.
Perhaps they will attempt to remove the 51,000 that are known about?

From the "article" : "A third firearms enthusiast keeps nearly 544,000 high-capacity magazines."
Fact check much? Sheesh. If that fact is true I want to meet that man for he truly plans ahead lol. A half million mags?
