Bergdahl Charged With Misbehavior before the Enemy

Observers wondered for months if Bergdahl would be charged with desertion after the deal brokered by the U.S. to bring him home. He was — but he was also charged with misbehavior before the enemy, a much rarer offense that carries a stiffer potential penalty in this case.

I wonder if they'll ever get around to charging 0bama and his unindicted co conspirators with levying war against the United States, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort?

The potential penalty for both is death.

I don’t see how Misbehavior is “stiffer” than Desertion, but I do see how it’s an easier case to make.
