You can't please all of the people all of the time. "You can call me Ray. . ."

In response to the post below, I received this comment which demonstrates that you can't please all of the people all the time:
Man you used to do Praxis spots. You used to try and help and now this is all about YOU YOU YOU. Nobody with a brain cares if you sucked 40 years ago. The problem is that you suck NOW. This blog has become the "Why I Am So Fuckin' Good" , Blog. Do you honestly believe that that blowing your own horn all day every day is somehow a "legacy"? You really have no Idea how much of a joke you have become; Do you?---Ray
Now, after calm reflection of Ray's critique, I shrugged. Admitting that I used to be a traitor to my country and the Constitution does not constitute what I would consider "blowing (my) own horn." And no one is more cognizant than I that I pull my britches on one leg at a time just like everyone else. If my writing reflects my own experiences it's because I know of no other perspective from which to write. I must confess that after some searching thought, I shrugged. I do the best I can with what I have, mindful all the time that I could not but be humbled by the support I get from the rest of you. And then I laughed, for "Ray" reminded me of this old commercial:
So you can call me Ray, but you doesn't have to call me a johnson.
NOTE: I HAVE TO REPORT FOR THE ENDOSCOPY TOMORROW AT 0600, SO I WON'T BE POSTING UNTIL MUCH LATER IN THE DAY. SORRY FOR THE DELAY. KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS.

This is your creation. Therefore you are free to say what you want. As for Ray, there will always be Rays, feeble minded and frustrated individuals incapable of accomplishing much in life on their own. And so they resort to ranting and huffing and puffing at others such as yourself, who contribute and create, and influence and challenge the status quo.

I think I would have gone with Rick Nelson's "Garden Party," but that's a matter of taste....

Schlafly warns America 'may be at a breaking point already'

Only eight short years from now, immigrants will make up a record-high 14.8 percent of the total U.S. population, and longtime conservative leader Phyllis Schlafly views the rising tide of newcomers as a purposeful attack on the country.

By the nation’s own president.

“It’s deliberate,” Schlafly told WND in an interview. “It’s not any accident. It’s because Obama and his friends are letting all these people in who don’t want to be Americans, who don’t want to speak English.”

Conservative activist Richard Viguerie, author of “Takeover: The 100-Year War For The Soul of the GOP and How Conservatives Can Finally Win It,” noted that most of today’s immigrants come from nations more politically and culturally liberal than the United States. Therefore, he expects the growing immigrant population to make the entire country more liberal.

“It’s going to pull America to the left, for sure,” Viguerie told WND. “America will become closer to the European model of state control of our country.”

Oy. Just whose blog is it, anyway?

Just keep doing what you're doing, and take care of yourself the best you can.

Hey, I don't agree with you much.
But I listen, and learn sometimes..

This guy's closed-minded, and such should be closed-mouthed.
Kudo's to you for being honest & speaking your mind.
Long may you run..

Shrug on, my friend. Some of us read your blog first thing in the morning before reading anything else.

I've noticed that many of the people that I respect precisely because of the clarity of their thinking share the ability to simply shrug and move on when confronted with nonsensical gibberish.

Shrug on.

When one seeks something from another, good and decent people ask openly and cordially. Evil people, however, take another track. They use deceit and derision in attempt to compel. Those with an appetite for the liberty of another cannot hide their true intentions from people with open eyes.

Ray, your own words expose you for both who and what you are. Just a run of the mill collectivist with an insatiable and uncontrollable appetite to consume that which does not belong to you. Just a common thief.

You do not wish to partake of praxis, you seek to avoid being exposed to uncomfortable menus that expose people like you. So gorge on it you collectivist troll.

I love praxis posts but the difference between you and I is that I find joy when one is posted and I'm greatful for the ones that appear. I am fulfilled by them. Heck uneven have a favorite - crayon candles is like ahhhh praxis for suburbanites. So simple so common place yet knowledge so few hold. Heck it could be shared as a praxis repost and some would find it to be new to them and be thankful for it.

Why not just al for more praxis posts? Why not offer ideas for them or heck - create a comment that IS praxis (like saying hey man, did ta know Fritos corn chips make great fire starting fodder -or- did ta know big flashlight batteries often hold many double A size batteries or that gum wrappers and almost any battery makes awesome ignition devices? But nooooooo-

Instead you couch the politics of personal destruction within a disguised comment pretending to want praxis posts.

The only frightening thing about your infantile display of intellectual dishonesty is that it demonstrates that some people are sooooo morally rotten that they think others cannot see right through it. Ray, don't go away mad......just go sulk about your abject failure, your utter destruction. Go cry in your beer and over some spilled milk while you're at it. Your FUDD-like attempt at psyop is a dismal crash and burn. Your evil intent on display for all to see, put that tail between your legs and go cry wolf somewhere that people will believe you - try the DNC. Oh wait, that's who signs your paycheck per post already....
