GOP waves white flag on amnesty.

"With the Homeland Security Department set to shut down on Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday offered Senate Democrats everything they wanted. And then, as with mice and cookies, they asked for some more."

According to four senators at the lunch session, a frustrated Sen. Jeff Sessions angrily dismissed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s plan, arguing that his party should be prepared for an all-out battle with Democrats to ratchet up public pressure and force President Barack Obama to drop his immigration policies. But Sen. Kelly Ayotte, a New Hampshire Republican who could face a tough reelection next year, sharply countered that McConnell’s plan was the only option to not hamper law enforcement agencies that rely on money from the Department of Homeland Security.

The repubs need to get real leadership....get rid of these RINOs Boner and Ole McDonald. This capitulation to the illegal immigration movement may start the revolt in the US. We (the vast majority of Americans) have spoken and we are tired of this bull$hit. I sent six contact faxes and letters yesterday demanding that they follow the law and counter Obama. Shut the freeking DHS DOWN.

There are no political parties. It's us and them. They do what they do because they can. There are fears,no repercussions for their actions. How many would vote "yea" for funding Obamas illegal amnesty if they knew they'd be hung for it?

They keep going on like shutting down DHS would be a bad thing. Shut it down. Permanently.

Also need to shut down the Federal Department of Education, the EPA and the firearms control part of the ATF. Shutting down those three things would be a good start.

Kinda makes ya wonder what they would do if 'O' did something more blatantly unconstitutional, like use the military to help round up conservative dissidents without charges or warrants. Would they dither and give up on that too?

I really am beginning to think that the job of saving the Nation is going to fall to armed civilians.

When it comes to the GOP, we're never surprised, but we're always disappointed. It's going on since ol' Slick Willy was in the White House.

Almost.

Let me see if I have this right... a bunch of people finally wake up and realize it's us against them... then they immediately send a bunch of money to an organization that does everything they can for them... not for us...

There must be one hell of a Kool-Aid stand somewhere...

Just as unConstitutional laws are 'null, void, inoperative, and illegal', unConstitutional government pronouncements, whether from the legislative, executive, or judicial branches, are also null, void, inoperative, and illegal.
Unless and until we regain a legal, Constitutional, founder-friendly functioning government, we are not bound by their illegal laws, rulings, regulations, and pronouncements.
It is the GOVERNMENT who owes its life to the PEOPLE not the other way around.
