Prince’s ‘Baltimore’ demonstrates ‘progressive’ paradox, elite hypocrisy on guns

One thing is for sure: Based on sheer numbers, Prince is unlikely to miss any fans that might fall victim to thugs in a world where all his dreams have come true. And reservations against using the “th-word" notwithstanding, it’s interesting to see the entourage of violent bodyguards the guy travels around with. It may explain why he’s personally so invested in the hoi polloi not being able to introduce an equalizer into the mix.

Anonymous said...: I take Prince's lyrics with grain of salt, he's just imagining a utopia that hasn't reached earth yet. Musically he's a genius, though in the past 10 years the output has gone down, in fact he released 2 albums last year, first time in several years which was unprecedented for a guy who rotated sound engineers over several days of nonstop studio time, had an album a year at least with unreleased material, not to mention all the things he's done for other artists. Prince didn't vote for Obozo which pissed off Tavis Smiley and company which was funny, he's never been pro-gov but independent and life of course in a vacuum. Also, while not acknowledged in the hack media, Prince's odes to God are inspiring "Let the Lord Jesus Christ guide you to the Purple Rain" can easily be heard in past concerts.
