Up To One Million New Yorkers Seize Opportunity To Not Register Their Firearms Ahead of NY SAFE ACT Deadline

With the deadline set to take effect, the head of New Yorkers Against Gun Violence — one of the SAFE Act’s biggest proponents — said gun owners should be expected to follow the law. “They can make all the noise they want, but the law is the law,” said Leah Gunn Barrett, the group’s executive director.
Yeah, after the conversations I had with some VERY militant New Yorkers at Knob Creek, all I can say is "good luck with that."

Where in Germany circa 1946 have I heard this excuse used before...

"They can make all the noise they want, but the law is the law.....It’s being implemented, and people are expected to comply with the law."

I wonder if that same sentiment is shared when it comes to immigration laws? No?

So for the residents of NY, understand that your voice is viewed as "noise." And that your supreme leaders have spoken, the Law is the Law.

The head of "New Yorkers Against Gun Violence" should also know that the Constitution is the Constitution. And all "laws" that violate the Constitution are NULL AND VOID. Can'y
t wait to hear of the first 'door kicker' getting splattered by a 12 gauge double 0 round. Then they will learn the TRUE definition of an assault weapon!

The law was the law when Rosa Parks wouldn't give up her seat on the bus. The law was the law when White people could beat their Black slaves to death LEGALLY. The law was the law when women couldn't vote. The law was the law when Jews couldn't own a business in Germany. The law was the law when gays couldn't marry in Vermont...or Massachusetts. The law was the law when 12 year old children worked 15 hour days in canning factories. The law was the law when abortion was illegal.

To NYC Cucuzza Cuomo:

"Vaffanculo pezzo di merda!"

"The law is the law?" I bet that moron didn't stop to consider that Jim Crow was once the law, too. What is right and what the law requires aren't the same thing.

Leah Gunn Barrett? As the name for an anti-gun lefty? You can't make this stuff up.

I get a kick out of these clowns preaching Law, the Hypocrisy is deafening.

Oh, so "the law is the law", is it? Then why do you continue to subvert the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land?

Bloomberg is like ringworm - he keeps popping up in inconvenient places and won't go away.

I hope every person in NY refuses to convict any criminal defendant until the guns laws infringing on our RKBA are all declared null and void by the state.

It occurs to me that we ought to thank Cuomo. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have vast numbers of New Yorkers getting valuable practice in ignoring and violating the law. It is a very useful skill to have. If the Founders were still alive, you could ask them about it.
