Thanks for the link to the WW1 photos. It was interesting to see the uniforms, tactics and equipment of the era.

Grandpa was on the USS Huntington (ACR-5), a battleship downgraded to an armored cruiser when they built the new USS West Virginia. He retired as an E-7.

I have his photo album and many great memories of talking with him about his time serving our country.
