CT bill would give residents another chance to have their guns confiscated

And now gun owners are supposed to be grateful to have another "opportunity" to direct the confiscation raiders to their doors? Thanks, but no thanks, Representative Miner.

I am sure that the author of this Bill just ascended to the top of many a patriot's list of vermin to be dealt with when the shooting starts...

Mike V,

I did not register in 1994. I did not register in 2013. I will NEVER register at any time in the future.

A comment from "rev_dave" on the examiner.com website where the story is posted caught my attention and expresses my very attitude. If such an extension is passed it will just be another chance for us CT Patriots to give a hearty "FUCK YOU" salute to Malloy, Lawlor, et al. Their unconstitutional bullshit remains null and void, no matter how they try to make it palatable.

What do you expect? The Liberty eating HYDRA of communists trying to disarm you just grew another head to attack us with...

BUT Until America grows a spine and actually permanently SLAYS the out of control Hydra, the assault on Liberty and Freedom will continue until the Hydra is successful in its end goal, subjugation and slavery of the American nation.

You cannot bargain with EVIL, you cannot negotiate or plead with it, you MUST face it head on. fight without the need for moral superiority because it doesn't consume/kill people with any concern for it either. You fight it on its terms with its own methods and you do not apologize for your methods or means because it surely will not apologize for its ends. It requires a devout heart of pricinples and a courage and self sacrifice ordinary men WILL NOT make. until extraordinary men stand up and do what must be done, this EVIL will continue to destroy us. Being a survivor doesnt mean you have to apologize for STILL BEING ALIVE.

I posted this on David Codrea' facebook, may as well post it here too.

"This is a guy that volunteered to be on the committee for drafting SB 1160 because he wanted to take the teeth out of the gun control aspect of the bill.

Miner is my representative, I've met him, talked with him, stayed up to watch him try to stave off the inevitable the night of the "emergency certification" of SB1160. He may not be deeply entrenched with which strategy gun rights groups want to take, but I still think his intentions are good here.

He's an ally in a legislature where they are few and far between."

That said, I have to agree with the universal panning of this proposed bill.

That said, his other proposed bill would require Lawlor's boys to go through a legislative commitee each and every time they want to go door kicking trying to enforce this.

Essentially establishing an "early warning system" for gun owners with their political ear to the ground.
