"Liberals are terrified of Chris Kyle’s legacy."

Of "killing sprees" and "racist murderers."
Forwarded by a faithful reader who comments: "She doesn't say it as bluntly as you, but it looks like Amy Miller agrees with you on WHY liberals hate 'American Sniper'".
Well, folks rarely say things as bluntly as me. It's part of my charm. ;-)

I'm glad their sphincters are clinched up a bit. There are millions of sniper class shooters in this country. Hope it doesn't come to that, but they need to remember that to us, making the "3 point" long range shot is cause for celebration and a beer.

The only thing that bothers me, is that, in the book, he claims to have shot 30 Americans in New Orleans during Katrina. It matters not that they were probably scum, but they were AMERICANS, and were denied their constitutional rights that we profess to defend. Now, if he willingly fired on Americans, as he claims, that puts him in the same kind of place as Lon Horiuchi. How many more like him will fire on Americans? And who ordered him to do this? He could not have just done this on his own. Some say that this part of the book is pure bullshit. If so, how much of the rest of the book is also bullshit? You see my dilemma? I reserve judgement until I have all the facts, but it seems that the people that saw the movie have become nothing more that cheerleaders for the government, rather than thinking things through. The movie was intended to show what happened to him, and how it changed him, as a result of his service. It was NOT intended to become a rah rah rah, sis boom bah type of movie. Thanks for letting me vent.

I guess what any talking head on TV says would actually matter if I watched TV..I'll stick with things like critical thinking, thank you. Once you're out of their "matrix" you start seeing the charade for what it is. Almost daily, we'll have the morning news on just to check traffic and weather, and some nonsense or another will come on and both of us immediately see right through it. And everyday i attempt to wake up friends and relatives to the same thing, and I'll never stop...

I think Chris was "taken out" on purpose

no accident , they just found a usefull idiot to do it

face it, he was a threat to many many people with his skill set
many of those people any Patriot would like to see squirm

like the filth we are dealing with currently

Understand that I'm coming down on your side of this, but also realize that the assertions of racism are coming (supposedly - I have not read it, yet the quotes are widely available online) directly as a result of words from Chris Kyle's mouth, from his own book.

I'm ambivalent on both the man and the movie, however I do in a way welcome the fact that it's going to be used to demonize hunting rifles. It's time the Fudds get a taste.

Lions not contained in a zoo always frighten the sheep. What's sadly funny is they huddle to the wolves in sheepskins to soothe their fears.

Evil exists, someone must take out the trash. If not you, then who?

@Anonymous: "Evil exists, someone must take out the trash>"

But there's the rub: who gets to define evil and designate the trash to be taken out?

Mr. Kyle thought he was fighting evil. So did Mohammed Atta. Both sides on the Eastern Front in WWII can easily claim that they were fighting against evil.

I would describe a liberal as a person with an inability to recognize the obvious. Whether that 'inability' is inherent or taught is really a moot point, because the 'inability' is ingrained into the personality and controls the thought processes of that individual. I would suggest that liberalism leading to libertinism is as dangerous in a person as any personality controlling ideology such as, Nazism or Islam. Now we know that kind of idealism breeds fanatics that can only be dealt with in one way and while the liberal mindset 'criminalizes' those who do not share in their utopian goals, their own insecurity and cowardice brought on by liberalized thinking will make monsters out of all those who make it their life's goal to actually stand for their people and their country and work at achieving that. And I would also suggest that whether this sniper was involved in the deaths of 30 odd Americans is irrelevant to the Big Picture that shows the liberals up for the real cowards that they are.

Both sides on the Eastern Front waged war against evil. Fascism and communism are the faces on the same coin.

The fact that anyone worships a war criminal scares the fuk out of me, and I am sure as hell not a liberal not a neocon.
