More than three years ago I warned, "Are you ready for Obama's Reichstagsbrand? There are many ways of rigging an election, if you don't mind wading through blood to accomplish it."
Now Matt Bracken similarly asks, "Will Obama Stop the Music This November?"
Yet in order to pull off an American Reichstag fire, and blame it on the opposition, you have to be able to control the narrative. Are the Obamanoids capable of the act? Sure. Could they achieve what they want after years of destroying their own credibility and legitimacy? Doubtful. They COULD of course start a civil war. But a civil war against an opponent using a uniquely American variant of Fourth Generation Warfare would be a loser for them both as a regime and in a very personal, even intimate, sense. And at least some of these collectivist plotters -- whether it is enough to maintain credible deterrence or not remains to be seen -- understand that.
The important thing is to maintain your preparations, your local networks of friends, relatives and like-minded folks, and to await developments. Much of the current outrages of the shutdown are designed by the Obamanoids to achieve just that in their opposition -- outrage. Yet in doing so they are destroying their own legitimacy with an ever increasingly wider audience. They are losing the political fight in the grand sense and throwing their "Mandate of Heaven" out the window. Political actions are still of great utility to our side. If I didn't think so, I wouldn't be going to San Antonio next weekend, nor would I still be engaged in publicly-defiant smuggling on the state level. Of course, people who are outraged sometimes allow themselves into being goaded into rash actions that play into the collectivist game plan. My advice? Take not counsel of your fears, nor let yourself be overcome by emotion. Trust in the Lord and Fourth Generation Warfare -- and keep your powder dry.

I really believe that this Regime is seen as a bunch of lying bastards.Nobody that I know of believes anything that comes out of Zero's mouth. Nor any of the propaghanda trolls that speak for this bunch of Nazi's. Everytime that there is an "incident" questions are being ask. And not by just the bloggersphere. Questions are being asked by the establishment media. I think that what we are seeing now is a regime in free fall. The longer the current narrative with the goverment slow down goes on and the more tantrums the Furher throws he is looking more and more like the unstable three year old that he is. But I agree. As he becomes more desperate he will be ordering his minions to engage in more and more illegal acts. They will strike out at their enemies real and imagined. We'll see what happens after this weekend. We have truckers going to DC for a protest along with a million veteran march with others to come. This regime has never had this kind of pushback in their own back yard. As the Furher falls further out of favor with the people he will be desperate to find a way to scare the shit out of everyone and will order a direct assault on the American people. When that happens it is the begining of the end for these Stalinist bastards.

Though independent witnesses gave testimony that other arsonists were in close proximity to the Reichstag on a grassy knoll, their testimony was patently disregarded by Reich investigators. I'm glad to see this getting some attention. I had a conversation about this very thing at the big gun show up here in PA last weekend with a couple of folks. I have no doubt that Obama wants to hit the debt ceiling. While I'm not sure that food stamps wood get cut off and riots ensure, I whole heartedly believe that Obama will cause a constitutional crisis by declaring the ability to unilaterally raise the debt ceiling. Once he does that, Congress will become irrelevant and we will have our American caesar.

Agree with the overall sentiment, they (whoever all they in reality are) are NOT ready - yet. But they get closer and closer to their end game every day that we do not try to prevent them making gains. One indicator is our military - there are still too many good men (and women) that will not obey unlawful orders, but that number dwindles almost every day, as senior officers and career NCOs remain true to their Oath. They are being replaced by 'yes' men who will gladly forego that oath for their bowl of pottage. We need to keep an eye on how things continue to devolve and as TR said 'stand armed and ready'.
The problem is that the U.S. already has been under a nationally declared state of emergency since 9/11. The said declaration has been renewed every year since then. It was just reupped last month:

Well yes ..... if you believe that conventional wisdom is going to play out this mess. I wonder sometimes, consider for a moment that perhaps the endgame is to start a civil war and turn this all into a cauldron of war and all the terrible things that accompany it. Maybe a weakened America with blood running through the streets will be ripe for the "picking".
Maybe the Chinese or the Russkies will be invited in to restore order as a deal and the final betrayal for a commie lover who hates America. Sure it will be fought vigorously by we the people who still care, but how many would have the stomach to resist the brutality that either one of these countries would use on a daily basis.
Just playing devils advocate here. It bothers me that these animals are doing the things they are doing unless they know there will never be another election.
Take note that Dear Leader has fired another top general. This one in charge of the entire nuclear missle defense apparatus. At the same time he has also given the go ahead to fire a three star admiral. That makes 8 generals and three admirals fired by this asshole this year alone. I have never seen this not even the bad old days in the Vietnam era. This is not normal. Most of the people that have been disposed of are combat veterans. Replaced with political types like Wesley Clarke. Good at kissing ass but piss poor at fighting an enemy. Wes Clarke proved that in Kosovo. But then again, this could work to our advantage. There is just such a glaring comparison to the purges that Stalin inflicted on the Red Army before the Germans invaded. Once underway all the Red Army could do was back up. For nearly a month they did nothing but retreat.
