Claire Wolfe makes me laugh.

She refers to "Sipsey snark."

My reply, awaiting moderation:

“Sipsey snark” Moi? Oh, well, now that you mention it . . .

This is the Star-Advertiser's editorial position on Hawaii's 10-cartridge magazine limit that they share with the gun-loving paradises of California, Massachusetts and New York.

"The 9 mm semi-automatic Glock pistol used by Loughner with two 30-round magazines was purchased in a Tucson gun shop and was the same setup used by Cho Seung-Hui in the 2007 shooting rampage that killed 32 people at Virginia Tech. Hawaii, with one of the nation's toughest gun laws, should maintain its capacity limit of ammunition clips [sic] to 10 rounds."

Isn't that argument refreshingly free of gratuitous snark?

Evidently, Claire Wolf's Randian cosmopolitanism predisposes her toward the temperate, good-natured social outlook of news sources that are hostile to the Second Amendment. ;^)

I must admit, the article she linked was remarkably free of pro administration bias.

Nice that the Honolulu Star-Adviser ran that instead of writing their own biased screed as I would have expected.

O.K. I am going to retract my snarky comment concerning Claire Wolfe. After rereading her remark, it seems as though she is only trying to be even-handed.

I guess I am a little touchy these days, having seen numerous attacks on Mike by pseudo-libertarian critics.
