Two from Herschel Smith

White Men And Their Guns
Hmmm. Gun ownership is all about white guy identity. Somebody should have told the Deacons for Defense and Justice.

One minor nitpick:
Herschel makes an interesting statement about the Japanese not understanding QA. I'd like to see him name one product that the Japanese make that is inferior to one made anywhere else in the world. I have a tough time thinking of any.
Otherwise, a good article.

Sorry, I completely missed the fact that someone was trying to pawn this dribble off as a scholarly piece. I thought it was merely fluff from some Liberal outlet.

its funny to me, as a lifelong southerner that has spent most of my 35 years in the dallas area, in addition to living in New Orleans, Oklahoma and Arkansas, that new Yorkers and Californians see gun ownership as a "white guy" thing........here in Abilene, Texas, I personally know a lot of Hispanic dudes that deer and turkey hunt, and back in Dallas, I would see no shortage of middle aged black women at the pistol range in grand prarie. down here gun culture is more universal, just isit the dallas market hall gun show or the will rogers gun show
