"Malheur: The 3,025 FPS Arrest Warrant."
News of the recent events in Oregon deeply saddened me. According to Victoria Sharp (who was in the car that was ambushed) Lavoy Finicum was shot when he had his hands in the air. We really won’t know who to believe until video of the event is released. (There were 30+ vehicles there, so the chances are very good that a dashcam recorded what happened.) The Federal agents have apparently now upped the ante, turning what had been a peaceful dialogue into a shooting affray. It saddens me to hear that there was loss of life in the ambush-arrest of several of the Malheur protestors. I must ask: Why did the FBI roadblock them out in the middle of nowhere, where there would no independent witnesses? (Why not just arrest them in the parking lot, just before the well-publicized public meeting?) Since when is an arrest warrant served at 3,025 feet per second?

Since when is an arrest warrant served at 3,025 feet per second?
Since yesterday as we just learned. Times are changing rapidly.
Choose sides carefully. There is no going back.
I submit that the area was plum full of elevated snipers and that a full on wild wild wild wild west shootout at the OK corral was expected. They were on a hair trigger to start with, and either they plinked him intentionally to make a point, or, as the released guy said, he decided to martyr himself and made enough of a move to commit suicide by cop.
I will say that stopping them out in the open where others would not be hurt was proper, certainly better than burning the whole place down. It seems to me though that they could have taken more time, from a distance, and had people follow directions until the area could be made safe. I will say the fella I saw talking missed a couple beats - and he sure was let go pretty fast. There is something not quite right with his version of events and his station.
Out in the open, where is the OC spray? If it was close quarters, with all that gear, where were the tazers? Sorry LEO, but it sure looks like you wanted bloos here and exacted that vampirish desire. ROE and orders are in order as a matter of public record.
It seems to me the Sheriff was out of line. For a LEO to come out and say we CANNOT take up arms was absolutely out of line. It was a violation of his oath to make that claim. Saying "shouldn't have to come to that" or something like that, fine, but he made a statement in direct defiance of our Declaration of Independence BECAUSE when government REFUSES to listen, when legislators ignore us, when the judicary provides no relief according to the plain language of the Constitution, there DOES come a point where it is our DUTY to take up arms. Now, maybe this wasn't exact right time at the exact right place for the exact right reason but that trifecta is all around us. I will not take away from guys who picked a line and stood there.
The fact is they did not shoot first. The fact is, LEO did kill someone needlessly. The fact is, government is not in the right here because government is operating waaaaaaaay outside its constitutional boundaries. Plainly, on its face and in practice. Those facts are absolutely in evidence. It is my hope that Sheriff was breaking up emotionally because he knew he was full of it but that he was told to say what he said. But maybe he really feels that way. Either way, he has to answer to God for whichever it is.
This is not over, even if who is left is some off their rocker well meaning beer drinkers - one thing is true, nobody needs to die. Government needs to make a concession on something NOW - right now. If it does not, Waco 2 will dovetail and will be the next manifestation. The biker stuff is about to come to a head. The ball is in government's court.
Be interesting to find out.
Kind of reminds me of Gordon Kahl arrest .....
So is it 100 heads time yet?
I don't believe this confrontation, its locale, or the target selection were, in any way "accidental". As you have noted, Mike, if detainment were the Fed's sole objective it could have as easily been accomplished at the meeting site the ranchers were headed to. But then there would be a great many eye witnesses and cell phone videos. The story has been slowly oozing into the popular media - particularly You Tube . And my take is the protestors are gaining increasing public sympathy as days passed.
For all of these reasons one could opine the Ruby Ridge / Waco Protocol remains high-priority option among the feds.
FINICUM!!!! Make it a rally cry! Paint it on buildings!! make bumper stickers!!! Dont let him die in vain!!
FINICUM!!!!!!! Damn them!!!
I would love to find out the name of the coward who shot Robert "Lavoy" Finicum. I can add that name to the list. The only other name on that list is Lon Horiuchi. I am sure when the truth comes out it will become clear that it was murder no matter what they say.
I predict that's its going to be a bad time to be a Fed...
If there is anything in any of that video that puts the cops in a bad light you can bet the bank that none of us will ever see it!
Cops are good at hiding anything that makes them look bad, hell they even resort to lying when necessary.
We had a police shooting in my town 3 years back. A guy who had been a dispatcher in the sheriff's office for some time, shot his wife's ex husband, then drove to the local fairground. Cops came from all over. The Sheriff, who personally knew the killer, was approaching him, and talking to him, trying to defuse the situation with no more loss of life. He was about 15 yds from the perp when a young state trooper showed up on the scene. He got his AR out of the trunk of the cruiser, got down in a prone position and then took several shots at the perp..and missed. So he got up, ran closer, got down in the prone position again, this time closer, then shot and killed the guy.
The sheriff was furious as he had a pretty good handle on the situation and it was almost over with no more bloodshed. Then GI Joe shows up out of nowhere and guns the guy down!
Having read of a number of these cases around the country it seems to me that we have a number of LEO's who are just waiting for an excuse to shoot somebody, just like the guy I described here was. He is still a cop but enforcing truck laws now. He is NOT liked and is called "killer Brown" by everybody in town. I don't know why they didn't post him someplace else.
Facing cops with guns today is a bad situation as there is often an itchy trigger finger among them. One false move, or an accidental discharge and the ceiling will fall in as they all will shoot then.
It will be amazing if we ever hear what the truth of this incident was.
Obama’s Chief Of Staff Admits They Want Tyranny
they're telling the people in the refuge to leave, while simultaneously blocking all means for them to do so.
sounds like the "this is not an assault" over the loudspeakers during the last day of waco.
Oregon militant’s death could rally others to cause, extremism experts warn
Oregon protester had ‘hands in the air’ when fatally shot, witness says
A trial balloon.
The only hope anyone at the Refuge has is for enough Feds to die that they get the message not to continue resorting to violence.
Really, it's the only hope any of us have ever had...ultimately there is no other way to fight tyranny than to kill enough tyrants for the remainder to rethink their options.
Dutchman - off topic but I've noticed about a 300 member drop in that google friend account. Sunshine Patriots ? Or what ? I was never a google friend member. WTF they know who we all are and where we live any ways ! Moral high ground ! I want to fucking puke ! Behind enemy lines Ct.
We will one day know the names of the trigger pullers: The Death of Robert ‘LaVoy’ Finicum
Mel Bundy to Newsmax: Cops Killed Rancher 'In Cold Blood'
"LaVoy (Finicum) got out with his hands up in the air, up in the air, saying, 'I don't have a gun," Bundy said on Newsmax TV's prime-time show "Dennis Michael Lynch: Unfiltered" in an exclusive interview. "He had his hands on his head — and then they shot him.
"They started firing on him. They shot him. He went to the ground — and they shot him some more."
Many questions few answers.
Sir: how can anyone take the Bundys side, they were wrong from the very beginning. The Bundys started it , not the feds.
how has anyone been able to vet victoria's report? she was in a car that got "riddled" with bulletholes because the feds perceived a threat from the group, okay. that group also is perceived as "domestic terrorists," sure, whatever. so could we see some evidence of her arrest? how did she call in to some internet radio show and none of the others did? the only part of the story i'm willing to believe right now is that lavoy was unarmed when he was killed -- we see that all the time.
what we don't normally see is someone who logically ought to be considered a co-conspirator to just be waved goodbye to right after a "shootout."
"... Ryan Payne was in the front seat but during the incident, he got out when they first stopped us ... That was the first shot, so he ended up getting out of the car, cause they
stopped shooting, he got out of the car and then after we started driving
again, that‘s when they started shooting again, ..."
warning shot fired near vehicle at the retard who sticks his head out the window when he wasn't ordered to. so he just ups and gets out and is arrested and the car moves forward, onto the X. if you didn't already suspect payne was an asset, now you know.
Chiu ChunLing, you write.. "The only hope anyone at the Refuge has is for enough Feds to die that they get the message.." .
As usual, strong words from you (though less tediously long, than usual).
So if you feel so strongly, why aren't you up there with those idiots, felons, and 'valor thiefs' firing away at the feds?
Is this the Christian way, that you speak of on your social sites?
Or just incitement to murder?
18 year old Victoria was one of 2 people in that 2 vehicle caravan who did not have a Federal arrest warrant issued for them. She was a very recently arrived visitor to the refuge who came from Kansas with her 7 siblings to sing for the occupiers. The other person was Mark McConnell, the driver of the jeep containing Ammon Bundy. Mark and Victoria were taken to County, the other 6 to Federal in Portland. Mark and Victoria were interrogated, but neither had any priors or outstandings on their record and were released within 2 hours. This is why Victoria was able to give her accounting.
And they came for the ranchers...but I was not a rancher...
The act that people can't accept just how IRRETRIEVABLE CORRUPT their government have become, how murderously UNCONSTITUTIONAL it is in actions, and vicious in violating the Bill of Rights, that they simply cannot conceive the situation. Such is the minds of the True Believers.....Its that 'It CAN'T happen in America" brainwashing holding fast...
You all wont shake that programming in time to save ANY of your privileges, because you WONT accept you have NO rights anymore. Constitution, the US FED GOV sez, "What is that? We don't need no stinking Constitution..you terrorist!
Betcha you are all wishing you HAD BEEN personally responsible before your lives and blood were forfeit. If you hind sight isn't 20/20 now, it never will be.

Right now there is a LOT of confusion with no answers coming.
The link posted earlier by Dakota has been updated to clarify the witnesses were relaying secondhand information.
So we have Victoria's account which says hands up, but how did she get an interview out?
We have secondhand accounts from guys who heard from guys who were there, but how did their story get out?
The info stinks and I still don't trust any of it.
all the proof in the world right now is the vehicle owned by Lavoy Finicum.
if it is full of holes....well then.
Oh, and why is there zero information from the feds and their propaganda organ, the MSM? Simply because they don't have the "correct story" laid out. Yet.
The next "bundy ranch" standoff will not end peacefully, regardless of who says what.
I've always though the Refuge protest was silly, both as a protest and as a potential militia action. Legitimate, but silly.
I'm past the point of participating in protests. If someone says they want something to end without killing any Feds, that's basically a firm dis-invitation to me and I respect that people have that right.
Also, for the time being I'm better set up to kill Feds that come to me than to go kill them where they are. I'm working on changing that...without losing any set up to kill them here if they show up.
@Tots. What reason is there to disbelieve Victoria's accounting? Because you aren't aware of how her interview was garnered and disseminated? Skeptical is one thing, but you have entered the realm of irrational cynicism. Victoria Sharp and her family performed in Bunkerville at the Bundy ranch in 2014. They showed up over the weekend to perform at the refuge. They are obviously tight with the Bundys. If Victoria's mom Odalis has not repudiated that audio recording by now, then it should stand solid. You can bet Odalis was at County to greet her daughter when she was released, and was likely in on the coordination of her daughter's statement which was immediately uploaded to the "immareporter" Youtube account which was created for that very purpose.
Rawstory is a liberal hack pseudojournalism site, which is evident by the fact that they promoted both Mark McConnell, and Melvin Lee, as eyewitnesses, when NEITHER witnessed the actual killing of Lavoy.
If there is anything to be skeptical about, it is Mark McConnell's testimony from 3:05 of his video.
3:05 - "What Shawna Cox said... that when he (Lavoy) exited the vehicle, the rear wheels were still spinning... and he charged after law enforcement. Y'know, numerous, her story changed a few times, she's added pieces, subtracted pieces, I don't know. I really don't know. What I know to be true, is... from what Payne said, from what Shawna said, you know, taking pieces here pieces there, and from what I witnessed, um, i didn't see the shooting, um, he was not on his knees, he was not, he was none of that nonsense. That was a miscommunication on somebody else's part, but he went after them, he charged them..." 3:56
Then he proceeds to say...
4:08 - "You know, they brought the girls back down" (meaning the LEOs transported Shawna and Victoria from the roadblock a mile away to the first stop point where Mark and Ammon were in custody). "They split us up, put us all in FBI vehicles, they brought me and the 18 year old to the county facility, everybody else went to Portland to the fed. facility. They interviewed me for 2 hours. They didn't have anything on me. ... AFter 2 hours they cut me loose. 5:22
Ok, so where in that above scenario just after the shooting do you see Mark having a chance to speak with Shawna Cox and Ryan Payne about their first hand experience in Lavoy's truck one mile away? Do you think the Feds let them get together and talk things over before "splitting them up" into vehicles and transporting them to prison? Possible but not probable.
Do you believe that somehow Mark contacted Ryan and Shawna in the Fed lockup after he was released to get their stories so he could make that video? I don't think so.
It sounds like he was regurgitating what the Feds told him happened. Not that I am saying the feds put him up to making these statements. But that the Feds told him what they "heard" from Shawna and Ryan. Notice Mark never mentions what Victoria said or didn't say.
There is where your skepticism should lie.
Here is the video from a SWAT helo
Ya, I'd like to see pics of the truck.
