Praxis: Muzzle awareness.

"So, how abouts I blow off your kneecap?" Bob Owens has fun with the Reno SWAT team.

Lots of nit picking about possible positions of his trigger finger. As if any of that justifies his lack of muzzle awareness. IIRC this is the same PD that has a history of offing civilians. Obviously a shortage of leadership and training from the top down.

I believe that would get you DQ'd from most competitions. But hey, they're Only Ones, so it must be right.

RENO???? Those dudes look like they're in Afghanistan. Welcome to American Stasi. All I know this ain't the country I grew up in anymore. Might as well be Moscow.

There are a great number of Only Ones who exercise some of the worst gun handling known to man.

Why should we point this out to them? If they take out a few of their buddies due to poor muzzle control or lack of trigger finger discipline, who cares?

"...so we might know them by their limping"

Anon@0940:

The po-po don't just fondle their triggers in private. Someday, an innocent bystander is going to catch a bullet because the fuzz were playing were playing with their toys in public.

@GaryM,

I recently completed the IDPA Safety Officer certification.

That picture does display a DQ offense.

A Reader, there was a woman killed last week in Ohio.

SWAT team stacking by her door, ready to go in and look for heroin, guns, and cash. Somebody's finger got itchy and he popped a burst through her window. Hit her in the head, and she died.

They DID find some dope, some guns & ammo, and some cash money, so they're trying to say it's okay. It isn't.

Apparently, Officer McKniight forgot the rules of safe firearm handling.

So... THIS is the REAL "Reno 911"...

Looks just like the TV version, minus the hotties with big brassieres.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The "war on drugs" is nothing more than a war on the people and their freedom.
Not to mention that military service should exclude one from becoming a cop. All of these gung-ho, roided out, thrill seeking former soldiers present a bigger danger than the drug dealers that they purport to protect us from.

I think the first shot would take out the kneecap. The second and third shots would result in a castration. The goober holding the rifle would be so surprised that he might even empty the entire magazine.

ex-jarhead here we always called it muzzle control. Muzzle control is the first thing I taught my son with his first bb gun. I am not bothered by their drones etc. I know the most effective weapon is a man with a rifle. Moreover, a man with a reason to fight and a rifle can overcome superior forces and has before in history and present day. Their lack of basic knowledge and skills gives me heart. When it come down to it this might not be as hard as I expected it to be. May God bless you all. Semper Fi
