Well, if you think another revolution is coming in this country, you aren't alone.

"Beliefs About Sandy Hook Cover-Up, Coming Revolution Underlie Divide on Gun Control."
Partisan divisions on gun control go deeper than the legislation being fought over in Congress. Supporters and opponents of gun control have very different fundamental beliefs about the role of guns in American society. Overall, the poll finds that 29 percent of Americans think that an armed revolution in order to protect liberties might be necessary in the next few years, with another five percent unsure. However, these beliefs are conditional on party. Just 18 percent of Democrats think an armed revolution may be necessary, as opposed to 44 percent of Republicans and 27 percent of independents.

Wow - a 'valid' poll - based on 834 whole respondents. That would NOT be a statistically valid poll in my HOA (about 17000 residents) And yet people continue to 'believe' in such polls. Makes me think that the count of low info voters is drastically underestimated ;-(

The collectivists in this nation seem intent on treading upon the rattlesnake -- An animal that if you just leave it alone, it will leave you alone.

I don't want a revolution to come, I don't want people to experience the hardship of a revolution (look closely at Syria too see what to expect).

But maybe on the other hand it'll do the people of this nation some good if it does come.

Maybe a generation or three of harsh fighting will break an entire generation out of their suburban lifestyle, with the hazed induced by television, that will make them come to the realization that the world is a cold, harsh place, filled with people (usually employed by a government) who can, and will do you harm if you don't fight back.

I don't want a revolution, but if it comes, then let the statists of this land fire the first shot.

Never heard of that university, or it's poll. The numbers are fairly meaningless to me for that reason. Interesting for coffee room discussion, but useless otherwise.

I'd need to see a sample of 3,000
A history of accurate polling from them
And some idea of how they go about reducnf the bias inherent in every poll
