Virtual House Arrest Ordered for Minors in East St. Louis

Angered by the recent murders of four young people, the mayor announced today that police are going to impose drastic new measurers to keep teens off the streets. “There is something going on in the community at this point that we’ve got to safeguard them and keep them off the streets,” Mayor Alvin Parks said. “There are people shooting at each other for no reason whatsoever.”

If "successful" and legally sustainable in this neighborhood look for it to be a coming attraction to a neighborhood near you. This way DHS can more readily justify the massive ammo purchases they have been making.

Napolitano and her upper level sycophants in TSA must be have wet dreams over being "justified" in placing goon squads in local neighborhoods.

Achtung...papers pulease...

Well Geez....I guess we can just suspend that pesky Constitution and 4th Amendment whenever 'extreme times' are announced by our government betters.

Good thing natural, inalienable rights are inherent to the human condition, and the Constitution merely enumerates them.

Teens? That is a code word for something, ain't it?

East St. Louis is more ghetto than ghetto's in Detroit.

Murder city. The media ignore it because it's ghetto and it's not safe for media to go there. It only makes the news when some politician tries to do something that may save a life or two.

The city is "locked down" with violence most of the time anyway. This may not be a bad move nor will it be viewed by the good people of that community as bad.

Truthfully, there are more LE from all agencies in ESL than you can imagine. It's a bad place with a whole lot of bad, real bad, players.

One day without finding a dead body or a violent murder is unusual. Tomorrow will make up for the lull. It's that bad ...

Kurt surely does have the right of it. "Evil exists because good men don't kill the government officials committing it."

Or as I like to say, "Ain't nothin' wrong with the Government that a few well placed rifle rounds wouldn't fix."

Land o' the free an' home o' the brave. Says so right here on the label.

Yeah, mayor. Just issue orders to your LEOs to kill any of the little bastards they find out after dark. That ought to keep them from killing each other. Constitution? You must be kidding!
