Every single one of those "Fudds" better read and understand what just passed there. I can just see the stupid, quizzical look on their face when they get arrested for letting their skeet shooting partner try out their new shotgun without the proper transfer paperwork. The problem with too many gun owners is: they're too nice a people. The forces of evil want to make criminals out of you, so you have a choice now. Learn how to maneuver as a criminal in the context of your right to own a gun, or become a boot licking slave. They are making it so the slightest infraction on their so-called gun laws will get you shoved into a Gov't gulag, and once there the uninitiated in being a criminal (in defense of your God given rights) will have that silly, quizzical look on their face again. The "Dutchman", who is an experienced smuggler, should know exactly what I'm talking about here. I grew up in the Canarsie section of B'klyn NY. The land of the "Roy DeMao crew". Anyone who has watched those mafia series shows on TV knows that was the crew that chopped up bodies for a living. I lived only a couple of doors down from one of the "butchers", so as a youngster I learned a lot about simple things like: keep your mouth shut, don't let people know what you have or what you're up to, keeping up appearances and most of all - never, ever think a cop is your friend. Those "Fudds" are finally going to find out what we've been saying all along; that this is a war. And if they don't want to be POW's in the first minutes of the invasion in their state then they better learn how to maneuver really fast.
The big question that needs to be answered is how will this be enforced? With all of the firearms out there and the apparent lack of numbers of thugs with badges to enforce this state law, how are the WA PTB going to make this work? I would echo what Anon@5:59AM said. Keep your mouths shut. Do not be concerned about the "Fudds" who will walk blindly into this situation and wind up stepping into a pile of state government s**t. Think of them as the ignorant sacrificial lambs who will provide the wake-up call for the rest of the WA gun owners.
The really stupid point about this law, is had this regulation been in place in CT in December of 2012, it absolutely would not have stopped Sandy Hook from taking place. Criminals who steal firearms are not going to take the time to take it to a properly licensed firearms dealer to properly register it before making their life extinguising rounds.
This is what happens when an entire state is taken over by a single liberal county. I'm predicting that the law enforcement agencies, primarily Sheriffs, outside of King county will refuse to honor this law. We in Oregon are in the middle now, and getting a bit nervous.
...So far, it seems we have a recurring theme of voters opting for responsible and accountable leadership on all levels, and less restrictive, less invasive government control. But that trend comes to a screeching halt when we begin cogitating the passage of Initiative 594, perhaps the most famous measure this year. Why did it pass and what does it mean?
Henry David Thoreau once said, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” Regarding this particular initiative, his timeless words of wisdom couldn’t be truer.
After months of hearing the whir of the well-oiled machine behind this measure, I am convinced that many Washingtonians who voted for it saw something that just wasn’t there. Media and ad headlines suggested this bill was about “background checks on all gun sales,” when that is not what the bill proposed. The word “sale” was omitted and instead, the completely nebulous word “transfer” was written. Big deal?
Now, 2.1 million gun owners in this state (2010 U.S. Census Bureau) potentially became criminals overnight by loaning a skeet shotgun to a responsible hunting buddy, as an example. This is not my opinion, it’s now the law. And because of one, poorly-chosen word, we have just handed control of this issue to our government. Wait, don’t the polls continually show us that we don’t trust the government?
Thomas Paine was one of the first Americans to say (I paraphrase), “Let’s not allow a disassociated regime tell us how to live our lives.” In his work, “Common Sense,” published February, 1776, he brilliantly writes, “Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness…”
Paine and the other architects of our country made it crystal clear that they weren’t only wary of British rule, they were cautious in crafting our own laws so that our own government could never have such preposterous control over all aspects of our lives. But this Tuesday, with this initiative, we chose to ignore history and the hard lessons learned by our forefathers.
Slowly, chink by chink, we give away our armor of freedom to the disassociated entity that most of us mistrust. Common sense?
Thomas Paine, we need your help.

Just another 2 cents from me (Anon 5:59am). We in NY know well what it's like to be dictated to by one county, although here it's one city. Rob Astorino won approx. 55 of NY's 62 counties in the governor's race and lost by 500,000 votes to Cuomo... When the fizzled out hurricane called Sandy hit I just laughed watching unprepared Gov't dependents in NYC crying that their gov't wasn't helping them. Welcome to the real world. It would have taken a lot more than a storm to rattle our cage up here...It seems that any state that has a very large city in it is prone to being dictated to by that city. And who lives in those cities? Mostly the dependent and the self-styled elite. Of course, there's still some hard working people living there, but many left long ago because they were being dictated to on a more local level and just had enough...And speaking of "wordsmithing" in the context of "sale" and "transfer". This is what happens when BAR attorneys get control of a Gov't. For example: They have been using the term "resident" for a persons home. Look in Black's law Dictionary and you'll see a "resident" is someone who is only passing through, not staying there as their home. "Domicle" is the proper term for the address you call home. But few people take notice because we think the BAR attorneys are speaking English as in Websters dictionary but they're not. They're speaking Law English; the two are not the same. And they know it! It's also how people get themselves in trouble speaking in court because they're using everyday English.. Bar attorneys learned from Satan himself and must be watched like a hawk...

After the first felony - all the rest are free!
Does Washington State really want 2 milion armed "felons" to deal with?
Form large groups everywhere ... and pass the ammunition (no background check mandated!).
III
After the first... all the rest are free. Nope, Washington has a 3 strikes law.
