There is no reasoning with such rabid Libtards such a Sen Murphy and his sycophants and fellow travelers. So to all such as them, I will keep my message simple, I will follow the KISS principle (Keep It Simple for the Stupid).
-If you want my guns and ammo, come and get 'em yourselves. DON'T send your up-armored jack-booted tugs.
-Don't act all surprised when The Immutable Law of Unintended Consequences comes around and bites you in the ass.

I could go on and on, but would it do any good? We deserve the Gubbment we voted for. Too bad there isn't some way to winnow the voting wheat (informed, taxpayers, property and business owners, honorably discharged military) from the chaff (low-information, welfare, renters, students). I think the tide would be turned with such restrictions. And don't start bellowing about restricting "rights". Show me in the Constitution or any of the Founding Father's writings where voting is shown to be a right.

At one time in this country way back in the begining the only persons allowed to vote were property owners. Those with "no skin in the game" as the Marxists Progressives like to point out were excluded from voting. The only national office an American citizen is constitutionally allowed to vote for is their member of the House of Representitatives. The political types got the idea of allowing citizens to vote yet when it really comes down to it the popular vote can be construed as just that. The Electoral college makes the decision although today that is tied to the winner of each state by popular vote although not binding. I would rather see a system in every state that awards electoral votes by Congressional District instead of the entire state being given to a candidate. That way it wouldn't shut out the outlying districts in places like New York state or my home state of Michigan. The conservatives are shut out in states that have large metro areas because it is those areas that are infested with the parasite class the Marxist Progressives pander too.

It's called "The Daily Beast" for a reason. What can you expect? They might as well call it "Hell Spawn Daily."

In the intel biz they "confidence is high".

As in "confidence is high" that the Pope is Catholic.

As in "confidence is high" that Sen. Murphy is not going to show up on anyone's doorstep to confiscate their guns.

As in "confidence is high" Sen. Murphy doesn't give a crap what happens to America's gun owners or to the Myrmidons he sends out to do the job he doesn't have the balls to do himself.

Re: Voting qualifications:

Instead of property ownership...how 'bout you paid net taxes.

And repeal the 17th A...obviously.

My Predictions:

Gun-Free School Zones will continue to be attractive to lunatics looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Until they are abolished, we will see more school shootings, and more mass shootings.

The lesson(s) of Sandy Hook will probably need to be taught again and again in the coming years (if not decades) until Americans wake the &^%$ up, and abolish "gun-free zones".

I hate to say it, but it is also simply a matter of time until what happened at Beslan in Russia comes to America.

If one single nut job can figure out that America's schools are unguarded and that the people inside of them are forbidden by law from possessing the best means of defending themselves, and is able to kill two dozen or so children, then I can guarantee you that a group of Islamic nut jobs have figured out the exact same thing.

I guarantee you: Somewhere Right *&^%ing Now in America, some school is under surveillance by the sort of people who have no problem flying planes into buildings, or strapping bombs to their chest, raping school girls, shooting up shopping malls, etc. etc. etc.

America's Beslan is going to happen. Sooner or later.

That's what I took away from Sandy Hook anyways, sadly, I don't think anyone with any major influence took away the same thing from that tragedy...

Plenty of screams for more gun control from these types, but nothing on better mental health care. The greatest common denominator for many of the recent mass killings has been the killers' mental illnesses in various forms.

From Columbine to Sandy Hook and everthing in between the common denominator has been the prescibing of psycotropic drugs to the shooters by child psychologists. From early age these people were classed as "problem children, over active" or other Liberal lables. Fact is the teachers goonions are responsible for this lock stock and barrel. It is they that negociate the right to determine who gets medicated. They tell the parents the only way their kids stays in the public indoctrination center is to medicate and sedate. But being the Marxist progressive assholes that the teachers goonions are they blame everybody but themselves. When you give kids these drugs from K through 12 and then suddenly they are taken off them upon graduation they have psychotic episodes in spades. They begin to hear voices and have feelings of paranoia. Once again they are the cause and they seek to shift the blame to a more convienent target that has been demonized by the Maxrist Progressive lameass turds in media. Meaning US. Time to turn the tables and start telling these assholes to focus on the true cause. Lazy ass Marxist indoctrination technicians.
