File under "Better Late Than Never Department." Would have been nice if she'd made more of point of denouncing Gunwalker back when she had the megaphone of the campaign.

"Bachmann becomes 100th member of Congress to endorse Holder ‘no confidence’ resolution."

She was scripted in what she was allowed to say or not say. She had to stay within a limited scope of issues and from that vantage point had to make it or break it.
She picked the wrong topics from the preselected menu she was allowed to base her platform on.
Ever wonder why Palin never stepped into the ring? The answer is, she didn't like the preselected agenda she was allowed to use to run on. So she didn't run. She can't say that in direct words but she's made the point by her actions.

Drip, drip, drip. It is a tactic and who knows, it may work.

You gotta stand up for what you believe and know to be true, for your sake and everyone else. If you can't do that, it is because you trust the judgment of others and not your own. Because you do not have core beliefs and values sufficient to the task or the job. That is a tough thing to do and it is the mark of a patriot and statesman, to refuse the lie or the omission of facts. Especially when you know the media is awaiting any opportunity to destroy you. Your option is only that of the attack, you will be given no quarter and therefore need offer none in return.

Those who master this, who can embrace truth and fact, articulate in the face of the enemy and attack that enemy, will win. Everyone else will lose because they have made the mistake of leaving their fate in the hands of the enemy, who will act accordingly.

Would have been a good place for the Bruce Willis/Die Hard "Welcome to the party, Pal" photo.
