The ORIGINAL gathering place for a merry band of Three Percenters. (As denounced by Bill Clinton on CNN!)
And they didn't even mention how much it costs - all at tax payer expense.
Just as I e-mailed to Jefferson County Sheriff Hale awhile back: much more money could be raised selling these guns to legal owners on the open market. That "once a crime gun, always a crime gun" business is nonsense.Do they not resell vehicles taken from DWI offenders?
I have an inexpensive method of destroying these confiscated ATF weapons, that is far more efficient than the current policy. Turn them over to the militia, under solemn oath, that we will wear them out against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Using the "reasonable man doctrine", who could possibly find fault with that?
Tax dollars at work....
And that folks, is another reason why the Federal Government runs at a deficit. If instead of recycling for scrap steel, the unclaimed weapons were instead evaluated by a gunsmith and auctioned online as whole weapons or parts kits (with only the serialized frame recycled)then more money could be generated.Instead, the Federal Government goes through the theater of destroying the "objects of evil" so that they can never do evil again. Give us a break. This nonsense must stop, if for no other reason than that it is "greener" to reuse than recycle.
