Illinois, the Sucker State, is at it again. Still. As Kurt Hofmann observes:
Martin Luther King, Jr. once said that "a right delayed is a right denied." When the right under discussion is the right of self-defense, that delay--that denial--can be a death sentence.

Per this link, efforts are underway to get around that additional 9 month delay.

How many victims are they responsible for creating and will there ever be, any amount of justice for any of them?
What is appropriate justice, for people who have caused the deaths and injuries of thousands, perhaps more? Under color of authority and the cover of lies and other liars?
What is appropriate justice in a case such as that?
My idea involves a post or two, chains, scrap lumber and fire.
It's to be remembered that the NRA went "neutral" in the final days of this legislative fight and that it fought AGAINST constitutional carry all along.
It's to remembered that what happens now and over the next 9 months with this "permission slip" structure is a direct result of advocacy groups, media and politicians joining forces against our rights to usher in this debacle. All so the three can continue the same game of collecting money based on the ongoing violation of the secon amendment.
The "they" IS that trio. They are all on the same side, lying regularly, and that side is opposite liberty of the individual. They ALL want and arrange government control over rights.
Wake up America!
I suspect more than a few CC advocates will be experiencing a form of 'buyers remorse' very soon. They could have had it all, but instead decided to follow the I$RA/NRA weenie mobile and their lies of how Constitutional Carry would not work. Well guess what? This CC 'law' definitely ain't working!
