"Old dogs don't need to be taught new tricks. They know them already. And when an old dog comes down off the porch, it ain't because he hasn't got anything better to do or just for the fun of it. An old dog'll bite the hell out of you because he's got a damn good reason, and it'll either be in the balls or in the throat 'cause he ain't gonna waste the energy on a lesser target." -- An "old dog" of the spook variety to Mike Vanderboegh, circa 1996."Lying is a State of Mind- So is Impeachment."
"Old dog" Jim Sensenbrenner uttered the I word. And the Obamanoids better understand that he is serious.
In case you missed it, Congressman James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) had the following exchange with Eric Holder last week during the Judiciary Committees grilling of the Attorney General over the Fast & Furious gun running scandal. Numerous Justice Department officials have been implicated in lying about the Fast & Furious scandal, including the Attorney General himself. And, yet, the AG explains to Sensenbrenner that nobody lied because "lying" is dependent on one's "state of mind."The video:
Had only generations of kids thought to try that defense with their mothers! "Honest, mom, I didn't lie, because I wasn't in a lying state of mind." Sensenbrenner references the highly unusual withdrawal by the Justice Department of a Feb. 4 letter to Sen. Charles Grassley because of "inaccuracies" about the F&F operation. For background we refer you to our December 3 posting about the DOJ cover-up and go here for additional detailed articles. Clearly frustrated with Holder's obfuscation, Sensenbrenner bluntly warned Holder that Congress wanted answers. “The thing is, if we don’t get to the bottom of this — and that requires your assistance on that — there is only alternative that Congress has and it is called impeachment, where our subpoena powers are plenary and there can‘t be any type of legal immunity or privilege that can be asserted on that.” Considering the source, that is far from a casual threat, as Sensenbrenner has served as House Manager of more impeachment trials than any Member in history. On four occasions in his 33 years in Congress, he has served as the House Manager of Impeachment trials including three federal judges and President Clinton. Sensenbrenner is also a former Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. The author of this bit of analysis, Bob Beauprez, is himself a former Member of Congress, and his opinion of the seriousness of Sensenbrenner weighing in on this tracks with what Capitol Hill sources of this reporter told me as well. Said one, "We were really impressed that Sensenbrenner began the hearing talking about impeachment." Some people, he said, mostly those who haven't been around DC for a while, might mistake Sensenbrenner's jab as theatrics. According to my sources, it is not. "Don't minimize that," said another, "old Jim is a serious guy, he's a careful guy. If he's saying 'impeachment' it is because he means that it is a possibility and he's willing to risk his reputation to say it first -- and he is a careful, careful guy." A third confirmed, "He's an old dog, and you don't get to be a successful old dog without knowing all the tricks." He continued, "anybody that knows the Hill knows that Sensenbrenner wouldn't jump in on that unless he was damn sure of his target and his ability to hit it." Sensenbrenner recognizes, said this source, that this is a "death match," an existential political struggle fought not for points but for keeps. He added, "it wasn't an idle threat. It was a promise." Said another source, "If the Obama people don't understand the importance of Sensenbrenner weighing in on this then they're stupider than anybody thinks, and that's pretty stupid already."

I'm actually glad to see the pimp's enforcer openly show his desdain for our legal system as much as he does for our rights.. it's about time their true colors were shown for what they are. One can only hope they really do spend time in the slammer.
TREASON should always be a punishable offense, especially when done so publicly.

Holder knows the numbers as does Sensenbrenner- the House can impeach him, but it takes 2/3rds of the Senate to convict. That's not going to happen Mike. Now maybe we can get Holder to roll, but I project the odds at less than 5%. I wish it were otherwise. Maybe this makes good campaign theater, but no Senate Democrat is going to vote to convict Holder, and this particularly true while Hussein still has a chance to win the election (by fair means or foul, and I expect a LOT of foul means this time out). The M$M ain't gonna push this, notwithstanding some work by CBS to date. IOW, Mike, I wish you were right, but I don't see it playing out that way. Meanwhile, don't shoot the messenger. You got some other plans on how to make this actually work, great. I don't need to know. Just do it.
Jim Sensenbrenner looks like a tough old "Dog". Looks tougher than woodpecker lips. Holder and obama better be worried. Real impeachment is intended as political assassination, a method of redress a lot better for everybody than assassination like in your getting a dirt nap.
Frankly these guys got it coming serious as a heart attack.
There absolutely with no equivocation needs to be an accounting, a comeuppance, for the crimes committed by holder and everyone else.
It is imperative that no one, that means exactly that, No One, neither holder or obama, or hillary, or the countless others involved in what is a criminal syndicate, No One is above the law.
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see where this will lead if these criminal elites are not brought to justice.
A bill is due. One way or another the consequences of this treachery and treason will come to fruition. The law of unintended consequences has a special place for things like Gunwalker and the people who perpetrated it.
The truth about that is you can't fuck with people only so long, destroy their Liberty, murder them, cause their deaths, rob an entire nation blind of its intrinsic wealth, all the suffering and misery, the turmoil and insanity, the brutality and attendant destruction of law and order, by way of your arrogance and specialness, before you get one way or another what you richly deserve.
"Have you no shame?" Shame? You don't know what that word means you psychopathic tyrant.
Fuck you Holder!
Your an insult to everything America is made of.
I keep asking myself, Who Are These People Who Think They Can tread On Me and My Fellow Americans? They believe they are above Gods and the Law of this land?
Who the fuck do they think they are?
And Mike, I'm not saying don't impeach the sob. Just be aware of the odds of success. Sometimes you do the right thing one way or another, and I am afraid this is one of them.
Stupid or smug, this bunch is going to be plenty dangerous when they realise the trap is closing faster than they can clear the kill zone.

Gunwalker is everything in a nutshell we have as the form of government it has transpired into today.
It is time for a Paradigm. A sea change in accountability of the elites for the crimes they have committed willy nilly wholesale.
Here we have these self appointed betters, who by their own superiority have every excuse and rationale to do whatever they please without having to be responsible for the bad things they are directly responsible for, but on the same token pontificate and deride all and any who dare have temerity to question their acts and judgement. How dare you or I question their agenda, their actions, the results of their grave mistakes.
The paradigm that is clear as natural law of Liberty and Freedoms here is it is time that the grandiose hubris of these madmen fit the crimes they alone have manufactured and nurtured.
In simplest terms the punishment has to fit not only the crime, but the high office and trust abused by these elitist bastards. The punishment has to be commiserate with office held. Not this bullshit of being held less accountable just because a title is afforded these charlatans and crooks. This sense of nobility and associated untouchable status has to go. The crimes treason and treachery these very nasty evil people are guilty of require a comeuppance in proportion to the terrible nature of the usury and usurpation's of the office they hold.
The broken trust and destruction of any Rule of Law by this breaking of trust is heinous in the most gravest of kinds. The repercussions of these abuses and trespasses ripple throughout the Republic. The travesty here is not the actions and agenda's of these traitors, but the ugly effect these broken trusts create. This is far more despicable, an unholy precedence that sets the standards of leadership through higher crimes and treason. Thereby nothing is left in this system of government to check or balance this dark side of human nature.
It is left only to those outside this system that is nothing less than tyrannical in every sense to right the wrongs and redress the abuses.
It is pretty scary thing indeed where only a handful are the only bulwark to the bloated diseased leviathan of tyranny balancing on a razor's edge.
What other way of peaceful redress is there if the system can not recourse itself by the courageous few that remain within its ranks???
LOL!!! Thanks Mike, its very clear that the current administration is being run by political activist and not seasoned political professionals.
Yes of course FF is going to have grave impacts for many who are in powerful positions. This whole matter is going to blow Watergate out of the water, no pun intended. This February the current administration is going to have two huge conflicts to deal with. Fast and Furious along with the report being released by Arizona's sheriff Joe.
All being said, if the people in charge of seeing justice is served on unlawful conduct by the folks in and inline with the current administration is carried out as expected. Between FF and sheriff Joe's report, beds in the country club federal prisons will be warmed with current administration and Goldman Sachs folks in serous numbers.
Bottom line: The show hasn't even started yet. What we are seeing now is, the stage being built and there's no way the players in power have any control over the hammers and nails. The clock can not be turned back any more than one can reverse the flow of the water that runs over the dam.
As you said, Mike, the end of the beginning. This is starting to get good. With Rush spelling out that F&F was all about doing more violence to the Second Amendment in Congress (and in my opinion, the UN), I think many average (non three percent) Americans are seeing the truth: This is NOT a typical dumb Agency decision but calculated and treasonous evil. I expect continued doc dumps as more people decide they'd rather be whistleblowers than martyrs. Your take on that?
Mike -
I think it is significant that the Sensenbrenner "I" threat was made before Holder told his lie about Grindler. Holder paid no attention and stonewalled again. So - after given notice - his answers should prove there is only one viable alternative, since Holder clearly is not going to assist anyone on the DOJ murderous plan to arm the Sinaloas to create havoc and get their change to the law. The DOJ / Tracy Schmaler spin (probably created by Wiech or Emanuel) that it was "an ATF botched sting gone awry" is dead and Holder doesn't get it. Yet.
I wonder if Chris Matthews' brother, Jim Matthews who was arrested last week for lying to a grand jury, will try this "state of mind" thing.
The Senate is not going to protect Grindler, Breuer or Weinstein; Burke, Hurley and Hoover; Newell, Voth and Chait; Schmaler and Schultz; I could go on. Impeach them in the wake of non-action from Holder and wait to see what falls out of the tree.
@Yank III:
"One can only hope they really do spend time in the slammer."
Extradite him to Mexico. Much tougher prison system, plus, the cartels he didn't arm would love the opportunity to discuss the matter with him.
The House is not going to impeach Grindler, Breuer nor Weinstein; Burke, Hurley nor Hoover; Newell, Voth nor Chait; Schmaler nor Schultz. There have been precisely 10 impeachments which made it to the Senate in the last 100 years. The House "might" impeach Holder. As noted, success is a crap shoot based on the politics of the Senate. If you doubt that, think William Jefferson Clinton - what is the meaning of "is" and all that. Now a federal indictment, that has potential for all the above named jamokes. As noted earlier that takes a US Attorney - and they all serve at the pleasure of the President. More is the pity. To clarify, I am not saying they don't deserve impeachment. Just that the number and frequency experienced historically is low. And Holder has already let Sensenbrenner know that he's not worried - the proof is in his testimony and denials. I wish he had good reason to be. This is Chicago rules folks.
Mr. Mike wrote about a second front not too long ago.
Just the public mention of Impeachment changes the entire dynamic of the stonewalling of Holders DOJ. Threat of Impeachment has to be taken seriously. It is the 500lb Gorilla in the room.
Don't know about any body else, but watching the arrogance of Holder subtly change at mention of Impeachment says everything.
In my view, Washington D.C. is completely beyond redemption, and expecting the internal machinations of that criminal syndicate to yield positive change is thoroughly naive.
Impeachment in itself carries no weight. So the replaceable traitor du jour gets shuffled out of Fedgov and into the management ranks of some *other* NWO-controlled entity. Consider it a promotion, with more time on the golf course. Are we to suppose that Holder stands ready to give up the goods because he finds plaids and pastels unflattering?
We can't even vote these people out, much less hope that they'll police their own worst offenders. There is but one remaining remedy, and its application ought to start with the string-pulling bankers.
