Christmas Eve.

I went out yesterday briefly to pick up my medicine and discovered The Annual Madness -- those folks so obsessed by the shopping compulsion that their faces become set in a death rictus, their actions jerky and fevered, their driving like malfunctioning Terminators, oblivious to everybody and everything except Obtaining -- was abroad in the land. For a minute or two, you'd have thought it was the Cannibal Zombie Apocalypse instead of Christmas. I was very glad to get home and enjoy my own precious gifts, my wife and two daughters. I was going to do some reposts today as I continue to struggle with the edits to Absolved, but actually I think that the best thing I can do is simply to remind everybody of the Reason for the season. Absent big headlines, I'll probably not have any substantive posts until Monday. Any presents I have for y'all will be delivered then. May God bless and keep you all this Christmas. Mike

Know that you hit the biggest head of the biggest nail with the biggest hammer ever when you spoke of the best gifts a person can possibly have.

The Reason for the Season boils down to honor, along with the honesty it breeds, and you exhibit that in spades with such a comment.

Merry Christmas, Mike, and to the rest of you 3%ers out there as well.

I know what you mean, Mike. I was out in the insanity yesterday as well. I was appalled, but at the same time pleased that at least some businesses will be doing well this season. Thanks for all you have done this year, and have a relaxing and joyous time with your family.

Its been a long time since I participated in this insanity. Viewing it now only reminds me of its foolish vanity. If folks want to be good to each other there are 364 other days to choose.
Have good Christmas Mike, we appreciate your efforts past, present, and future.

Thanks for the reminder! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Jesus is the real answer to all our problems.

"In this world you will have trouble, but take heart for I have overcome the world," He said.

Merry Christmass Mike I found the following words that I wanted to share They were spoken by Barry Gildwater
“Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue""

I pray that all my Patriot Brethren (and Sistren too) may manage to find 24 hours to ignore the horrors which face us and find peace and succor in Faith and Family.

The Enemy will still be here tomorrow!

As for now, please join me in spending what may be our last Christmas in peace!

God help us -- and God Save Our Republic!

Merry Christmas to you and yours Mike. Thank you so much for what you do. Praying for the Lord to give you extra strength this coming year as you deal with the continued weasel population explosion.

No money here, so no "shopping." I did drive downtown Christmas eve, having forgotten to buy milk on Friday. The streets were deserted, the stores all closed except the "minimart." But the warmth of the lights shining from every home I passed was a beacon of hope in this dark world.

I offered a gift of love to everyone I know, and wrapped it in a hug when they came by to collect it.

Lots of hugging going on in this house lately. :)

Here's your hug, Mike. >>>>>>!!!<<<<<<< Sorry, can't get my arms into the little wires. :)
