Pardon me, but who gives a tiny turd what YOU want, collectivist?

I'm a gun owner and I want gun control

Typical strawman conflating of the issue: never mind that 50% of his victims were killed with a 'gasp' KNIFE, it was the evil gun - not the evil user - that bears the brunt of the blame. If the tool who wrote the article truly believes that Citizens have 'unfettered' access to guns, what pray tell is the use of having the 20-25 THOUSAND 'gun control' laws that currently exist?

The effectiveness of totalitarian gun control as described by the commander of the 106th Guards Airborne Division of the Soviet Army. One of the units sent to suppress an anti-Armenian pogrom in Azerbaijan. As told to Carey Schofield, author of "The Russian Elite: Inside SPETSNAZ And The Airborne Forces."

"We landed by night, and some of our aircraft came under attack as we did so. One carrying personnel from Tula landed with twenty-two holes in the fuselage. The people thronging around the airfield were armed with sub-machine guns, knives and clubs. I went over to the crowd and said, 'Look! The Army is not a cat to be swung around in the air. Clear the road!' The KPP (Control and Command Post) of the airfield was blocked with KRAZ and KAMAZ trucks loaded with boulders. People started shouting that we wouldn't get through. While I was talking to the crowds my sappers were cutting the wire fence about 200 meters to the left and right of the KPP. I gave the crowds five minutes to think things over. They began jeering and laughing. Within five minutes two companies from my Ryazan regiment had crossed through the holes in the wire. The whole crowd was ordered to lie face down. We kept them there all night, to let them think things over. When we told them to clear off, the next morning, nobody wanted to admit that he had come armed. They all just left their weapons behind. So I said, 'okay, let's just say we found them'."

If gun control doesn't keep firearms out of the hands of criminals (genocidal criminals at that) in Soviet Russia, it is not going to do so in Soviet America.

Mr O'Mara's sophistry set off my BS detector when he Trotted out the "I support the 2A BUT" chestnut,Then went on to the "Possession of a mouth"crimes.I guess Cliven Bundy was guilty of incitement to riot when he told us to go get the cows. No, our Const. and BoR are not written in stone. They are written in blood!Has human nature changed for the better in these 223 years? NO!

We are allowed our freedom of religion, yet we cannot force those religious beliefs on others.

Uh huh.

This fool can believe in his religion of gun control all he wants to - because he is free to do so - yet even he admits that he cannot force those views upon others....

I am left to wonder if he even read what he wrote beyond seeing what he views as a case made to do exactly what he admits cannot be done.

That's the thing about loyalist collectivist bastards - when they talk enough - beyond talking pints- trying to explain their position, they almost always nail their own ass to the wall.

and this guy is one of the reasons CNN has lost so much viewership. He trots out the amendments (plural)that did away with slavery. You mean the 13th which pretty much assures VOLUNTARY servitude? And i guess the 14th which tries to steal the sovereignty of the People, make us Gov't owned citizens and subjects. only ignorant, uninformed "people" that barely know a constitution even exists would listen to this bull&^%$...

This jackass doesn't get it. In order to disarm and commit genocide on those who disagree with them, all they need do is reclassify a law abiding citizen as criminal. He doesn't get that if numerous people were armed in San Diego, that 'kid' would have been stopped much sooner. The Connecticut maniac would have been stopped in his tracks. It is the gun control fanatics that force people to be vulnerable to attack. Damn them and Damn him!

Those folks in Azerbaijan made one crucial error. They held their fire.

It would never enter this fool's mind that the killing can get a heck of a lot worse. He is so hooked into the system that he cannot imagine people will break laws if they don't agree with them. And, he licks boots.

The article reminded me of a posting someone did on USA Carry Forum.
It starts out:
"They claim to be a "gun owner", yet (see below) they display uncommon ignorance"
And ends with:
"Don't be afraid to use sarcasm, mockery and humiliation. They don't respect you. There's no need to pretend you respect them."
The posting is here:

Typical tyrant that starts his argument by showing how other rights are restricted now but pretending we have no current restrictions on the 2nd Amendment! Hey, jack wagon how about the 20,000 laws currently on the books regulating the 2nd Amendment right now!

I love how they pretend we have no infringements right now so whatever new ones they can dream up are "reasonable" and "common sense" and since other rights are infringed or in some cases i.e. The 4th Amendment completely shredded we shouldn't object!
