Old Business -- DVD of Military Manuals
I'm sure some of you recall my post, entitled "A militaria collectible," of a few months ago of a DVD of a boatload of US military manuals in return for subscription donations. The original DVD included sets EM 0045 NBC Equipment -- Masks, Detectors, Radiac Sets & Related Equipment; EM 0065 Mortars, Small Arms, Mounts & Related Equioment; EM 0093 Mines, Mine Clearing & Emplacement Equipment & EM 0178 General Publications. These sets contain over 500 Field Manuals, Technical Manuals & other bulletins.
What with a few technical difficulties, it took me a while to get the copies made and then ship them out, with the last ones going out on Monday of this week. Better late than never, I guess. To reimburse those of you who waited so long, I also threw in two other sets of military manuals: one DVD on Small Kill Team Training (sniper training and related equipment manuals) and another which is a collection of Army Materiel Command Engineering Design Handbooks on Ordnance which includes:
AMCP 706-150 Ballistics Series: Interior Ballistics of Guns, February 1965, 156 pp.
AMCP 706-210-1963 Ammunition Series: Fuzes, General & Mechanical, August 1963, 160 pp.
AMCP 706-238 Recoilless Rifle Weapon Systems, January 1976, 544 pp.
AMCP 706-240 Grenades, December 1967. 97 pp.
AMCP 706-245 Ammunition Series: Section 2, Design for Terminal Effects, July 1964, 207 pp.
AMCP 706-251 Guns Series: Muzzle Devices, May 1968, 148 pp.
AMCP 706-260 Guns Series: Automatic Weapons, February 1970, 357 pp.
AMCP 706-290 Warheads -- General, July 1964, 222 pp.
TM-9-1000-202-14 Operator's, Organizational, Direct Support & General Support Maintenance Manual, Evaluation of Cannon Tubes, November 1976, 268 pp.
That's the good news. The bad news is that I am convinced that I've lost part of the list of subscribers who have already sent me their contributions. Without the rest of list, I cannot fulfill my end of the deal, no matter how tardily. So, I'm asking those of you who haven't received your copies of the above DVDs by this coming Monday (8 July) to please drop me an email or a snail mail, reminding me of your contribution (amount, method of payment and approximate date) and I will make sure you get copies of all three DVDs.
Of course, anyone else who missed it and wishes to get them may do so now by sending in (via PayPal or snail mail) their donations. My email address is GeorgeMason1776ATaolDOTcom.
