"Our Constitution established a system of governance that preserves, protects, and holds sacrosanct the individual rights and primacy of the governed as well as providing for the explicit protection of the governed from governmental tyranny and/or oppression."

No, the constitution doesn't do any of those things. And it never did. Only individuals can do those things for themselves and within their voluntary associations.

The Green Berets et al might have to contend with a different security force on US soil, assisting DHS it seems (security at mass events)

Big deal.

So what are they going to do about it?

You won't publish my comment criticizing the Green Berets, but you can at least take note the link you posted is dated January 23, 2013 so it can't be the "pro-Second Amendment Resolution...passed by unanimous acclamation at the Special Forces Association convention in San Antonio on 28 June 2013" if said resolution was authored after the May NRA convention.

You may hold the military up on a pedestal despite its refusal to obey its oath, but I still like you enough to bring to your attention errors :)
