NRA's LaPierre: Absolutism is virtue, not vice

Mind you, with Wayne, talk is cheap. Watch what he does, not what he says.

On the plus side, at least he's up to talking tough, rather than talking about "meaningful compromise" or "common ground" or some other mealy-mouthed expression.

This is a step up for the NRA.

Obviously, you're right that it remains to be seen whether they'll follow through. But when the proverbial 800-kilo gorilla growls...

It seems to me that the NRA has done a better job of late. I agree that there is a real test ahead and we should watch them closely. If you are an NRA member, please call and write to encourage them to do the right thing.

If the fail us, well fool me twice...

May I suggest that readers contact NRA-ILA and urge them to be absolute and uncompromising in this fight? And do so civilly.

The more support and pressure they have, the more likely they are to live up to LaPierre's words.

Also contact your Congressman, Senators, state reps, & governor and express the same. Get your friends and neighbors to do this as well.

We are NOT voting, mediating, lobbying, petitioning, emailing, letter writing or phone calling our way out of this mess.

The left has been working toward this moment for fifty-one hundred years and they are feeling it.

We are on the cusp.

What ar YOU going to do about it?
