Does the Republican Party bear any responsibility for these groups and their actions?

OK, so more than one-third of these collectivist dweebs are convinced that the GOP organizes and controls "the militias" -- however they define that in their own tiny little minds. Another 35% believe that we are "encouraged" by the GOP.
Uh, huh. Will all Three Percent card-carrying members of the GOP please raise a shout?
(Crickets, wind in the grass, a dog barking in the distance.)
No wonder we'll end up fighting these people. They are totally minus the most obvious clue.
well, i won't claim to carry the card.
i'm an anarcho-capitalist libertarian because i believe jesus was an anarcho-capitalist libertarian, and that everything else is collectivist, whether misguided (stupid) or intentionally dishonest (evil).
as it happens, this is really the only difference between the GOP and the tranzis: the former is more often stupid, and the latter is more often evil. i know which one i'd rather be if i had to choose. it's just that i also happen to know that i don't have to choose (okay, at least not until the bayonets are mounted).
now i may be a "dangerous ideologue," but if this is true, then so too is everyone else. only, unlike a "pragmatist" who claims to act and think relative to context (read: moral relativism), i have the balls to admit that i do have an ideology, and the intellectual wherewithal to demonstrate that they do as well.
i came about mine through experience of the world and critical thinking. peanut gallery members of both the GOP and the tranzis spend their time accusing the "other" of deriving their ideologies from jingoism or tribalism. i can't help but point out that, while these are entirely accurate accusations, this behavior itself is both jingoist and tribalist.
my ideology just so happens to begin with the words "do unto others." this, of course, is the worst form of self-government except for all the others that have been tried.
so, as i said, no claim to the card. nonetheless, my III patches arrived just today. i guess you'll just have to count me in, huh? admittedly, it might be smarter to wait and see which way i point my gun, but a reasonably educated man ought to be able to make a reasonably educated guess.
If the GOP mommy come wipe me folks control "militias" - freedom and liberty are indeed fucked.
We may not wind up fighting them, they will send their stupefied, state indoctrinated spawn. Plus the sad "soldiers" who don't question orders, or do I repeat myself? May God have mercy on their souls.
This ignorance (willful, in my opinion) is what will give them the justification to form the Obama Youth and an army of Greenshirts/Brownshirts.
The simple fact that they are asking the question in the first place convinces me of their absolute conviction of the "idea" they are positing.
Thanks for the heads-up, Mike.
If this be treason, make the most of it.
I am not GOP, definitely not, although I voted for them simply because of the gun issue.
QUOTE We may not wind up fighting them, they will send their stupefied, state indoctrinated spawn. Plus the sad "soldiers" who don't question orders, or do I repeat myself? May God have mercy on their souls. QUOTE
Just like the youth of Nazi Germany in their prime, between 1933 and 1938. Yet the looks on these proud young men and womens' faces only turned to confusion when their bodies were thrown into shallow graves along with the flag that they were ordered to pledge absolute loyalty to. Such is the fate of mindless drones who carry out what their masters tell them.
"......unlike a "pragmatist" who claims to act and think relative to context (read: moral relativism),..."
Context is changed, determined or recognized through the lens of morality. Morality is the constant.
Moral relativism is in itself immoral, because it allows for other constants (intermittent constants,at that, because the new constant is always determined by cowardice and that which is the most feared) that can veto morality.
I know Jon that you knew that. I just wanted to clarify the point in no uncertain terms. For our pragmatic, but untrustworthy self-anointed friends.
as it happens, this is really the only difference between the GOP and the tranzis: the former is more often stupid, and the latter is more often evil.
This is exactly what Dennis Prager says. I quote "There are two parties, the party of the dangerous and the party of the stupid. I belong to the party of the stupid."
I can claim that I am a member of the GOP, at least our local grassroots party here where I live. I can also tell the people at KOS that the GOP does NOT organize and encourage militias. That they believe that is their own wishful thinking.
if only they were as smart as a fifth-grader and maybe read just the first half of the constitution, it might dawn on them that they too were charged with the duty of defending their country when the government turns to tyranny. the government are few, we are the many. that's the way it was designed to work. just in case. imagine them all fainting upon realizing they, as citizens, are also members of "the militia".
