"There is also concern about whether Mitt Romney would be supportive of the Second Amendment as well.” As well there should be.

"Firearms Sales Ring in 2012 With a Bang."
Keane agrees that the same concerns, including economic uncertainty, drive firearms sales. The gun industry is one that could not only be considered “recession proof” but actually thrives in economic downturns. Politics, however, certainly plays a role, and while the election of Obama may have resulted in a post-election firearms sales boom in 2008 and 2009, the 2012 campaign season could kick sales into high gear again.
“There is concern about the Second Amendment, of course,” says Keane. “There is a concern as to what President Obama might do in a second term, but there is also concern about whether Mitt Romney would be supportive of the Second Amendment as well.”
As well there should be. The guy's wobblier on the subject of firearm rights than Dubya and George Herbert Walker put together. Plus, if Romney gets the nomination and is somehow elected over the objections of conservatives/libertarians -- even to the extent of a probable third party -- just what will he think that he owes gun rights advocates? Exactly dick.

There's something about that smiling piece of wood with the perfect hair that bugs the hell outa me. America voted a Saul into the Oval Office in 2008. Romney is no David in contrast. I think a good nickname for him is "Saul R2."

I know that I will be voting 3rd-party or not-at-all if Romney is the GOP's candidate. Better the devil I know...

I'll vote Romney over Obama anytime, if he turns out to be the nominee. I'll hold my nose and circle in bubble next to his name.

Is it the GOP's fault that he has a better campaign organization than his more conservative opponents?

Obama has done too much damage to even consider what he might do in a second term. And Obama and his puppet masters hate gunowners to the core. Obama will be a lame duck, meaning gun rights will be a target, and Hillary will be in line in 2016 to "save us" from his asinine administration.

We can deal with Romney, and if he gets froggy any stupid crap should be blocked by Congress. The same could be said for Obama, but he's perfectly willing to use violence to get his way...

Do you really think the men at Valley Forge froze their toes off so that we could vote for the lesser of two evils? What has become of the country they bled to create?

“Mr. Franklin, what have you designed for us in there?”

“A republic, Madam…if you can keep it.”

I will vote for a three legged dog named TRIPOD before ever voting for the Socialist name OBAMA. I am a registered Democrat and I am ashamed of where my party has gone, Into the dark-side yet I hope and pray that some sense of "Love of Country" might someday come back to the DEMS, I will still vote AGAINST OBAMA and urge others to do the same.

Voting 3rd Party, not at all, hold my nose and vote for Herr Mitt Meister. Really gang .... do you really think that an election can stop the gathering storm before us? The saying, "can't see the forest for the trees" comes to mind.

Do you really believe that the Republican Party will stand in the "gap" and turn this country around? When have they shown "any" backbone at all for countering the slide to socialism.... when? Do you hear ANYONE of them in the House or Senate raising hell about what is going on ......? Hmmmm

Grow up gentlemen .... we have no Constitution left, the rule of law does not apply to our "betters" that are supposed to be doing our business within the guidelines of the Constitution they swore to "protect and defend"....... grow up!!

This election means nothing .... absolutely nothing ... we will continue our slide no matter the outcome .... we need to plan on "plan B ". .... or C.
